FYI, you might not find many Bitcoin (BTC) fans here. Some of the reasons I've outlined [here](https://read.cash/@Read.Cash/explanation-of-bitcoin-cash-for-normal-people-0e84fa10#how-does-bitcoin-cash-relate-to-bitcoin).

    I really like it more when people say "Bitcoin Cash is *effectively* Bitcoin" or "Bitcoin Cash is *what Bitcoin was supposed to be*", because even though what you're saying is technically truth, it **really** confuses newcomers in space. To me Bitcoin Cash is Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin (BTC) is a sad legacy.

      For me BTC,BCH and BSV are all Bitcoins. Like USD,CAD and AUD are all dollars. And what she wrote applies to Bitcoin Cash. But of course you're right, Dan Hedl certainly meant BTC.

Note that it is **technically impossible** to build something like read.cash on Bitcoin (BTC). It should say something about why we dislike Bitcoin (BTC) (I was a big fan of Bitcoin (BTC) up to 2017). The [current fee](https://bitcoinfees.cash/) to move your money on Bitcoin (BTC) is ~$0.10. So you wouldn't be able to upvote someone for less than $0.10 and you'd have to pay $0.10 extra just to do it (unless there's a congestion - in that case you might pay up to $35 to upvote someone for $0.01). Our affiliate program would have been totally impossible on BTC....
