Back to reality ***If you can change something in your life what would it be? If you can escape reality, where will you go?*** Honestly, I would sound like a hypocrite when I answer that I wouldn't change anything in my life because I am contented with what I have, what I am and where I am. I am not answering any beauty pageant that I have to answer on what I think the judges would like to hear. Rather, I would like to answer these two questions with what I think. Period. ***If I could change something in my life, what would it be?*** I'd like to tell you a little bit about my life. I am an eldest of four siblings. I am the only girl. My mom died when I was 13 and since then I have taken the responsibility of taking care of my brothers and looking after their welfare. I know that there are also other people who experienced what I experienced or perhaps even worst. They might agree that losing a mother is never easy. My teenage days were full of me taking care of myself and my siblings. As young as 13 years old I have to make simple decisions such as what we will have for breakfast, lunch and dinner with a budget. How would I know budgeting at a young age? I wasn't taught. I have a lot of things to learn that could have been taught by mother but she wasn't able to in dying early. That is something I wish I could change in my life. ***Now, what is my current reality?*** I am working straight for 5 years in a BPO company. Honestly, I like the job because customer service is my thing. I like to be able to resolve a customer's concern. I love analytical thinking. Working in a BPO industry helped me to learn a lot of things such as patience, compassion to people, striving hard to reach my goal and my rights as a customer. But aside from the good things I learned, I realized that it has negative impact on me too. I realized that when working here, you must not be attached to your caller or your teammates or team leader. Why did I say so? Because nothings permanent in a BPO industry. People really come and just go. Now, my reality is I am torn between quitting this job that provided food on my table for the last 5 years and living in a place that is less stress and will make me healthy again. I can say that right now, working has really been tiring. I needed rest but was worried that I still have a sibling in college that I help in studying in terms of financial assistance. Will my small earnings be sufficient to let him finish school? This is what I am worried about. People say that health comes first. Do you agree? If I choose to quit my job and live a stress free and healthy life, what will my family say about me? I hope I can escape this reality.

**How about you? What is your reality?**
