How are you?
Hi! How are you? It's been a long time since I last talked to you. I do hope you are doing fine. I know that life has been hard but please just keep holding on to it. Please write back to me about your life experiences. The year 2024 is on its last month and for the past 11 months, I hope that you can tell me something nice that happened to you. If it's not nice, then that's okay, you can tell me that too. Maybe I can give you an advice or two. Let me tell you something that happened to me this year. It also is not nice, but I am still hoping that the year will end with a blast. Hoping to be able to receive any good news before the year ends. This year has been a struggle to me to be honest. We started the year with our Mama getting sick and is admitted to the hospital. Financially speaking, we struggled since my Mama does not have any medical insurance and has not paid her PhilHealth contribution because she was an OFW. She just went home for good last year because her employer terminated her employment because of her diabetes. I think I have posted here before that she got sick after new year. That was last January 2. Then she got confined at the hospital for 3 days and her bill was about 24,000 php and I paid my Mamas PhilHealth and so they deducted around 10,000 pesos from the bill but then, the rest of the bill, I took care of. After a few weeks, I remembered it was Sunday February 11th, I went to church in the morning with my nephew. Then I got a chat from my Ate that Mama was rushed to Medicare hospital. I quickly went there and while we are on the way, I got a call that Mama is already gone. I can still remember the pain I felt when I heard that. When I reached at the hospital and I saw her lying at the bed, lifeless, I cried and cried and cried and I cannot do anything but cry. Some memories flashed before me, and I remembered how she cared for us. how she helped us with everything. I remembered all the things that she told me growing up. The life lessons that she reminds me always. I also remembered her sufferings as an OFW in Hong Kong and all the sacrifices she did for us. I felt so sorry because I am not in a stage in life where I can give her all that she needed. I felt so sad and hurt because of her passing but I'm relieved that she did not suffer. I thank the Lord that He revealed himself to my Mama few days before she passed, and she accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior and now I am certain that she is now being welcomed in heaven and is happy there. No more pain, no more sufferings. If you are still reading this, I just want to thank you for taking your time reading my story. I do hope that you are doing fine and whatever it is that you might be experiencing now, know that it will pass. Be brave. Be strong. Be kind. God loves you.
