In partnership with the American Space and Aviation Administration (NASA) and SpaceX, where Elon Musk is the CEO, a 3-ton cargo consisting of 128 squids, thousands of water bears, solar panels, avocados, onions and lemons was sent to the International Space Station. The shipment in question was launched with a Falcon 9 rocket. Researchers at the ISS laboratory will be able to better understand the effects of long space stays on the human body by studying squids, which have a similar immune system to humans.
