Ayer Boat Basin Boondocking What a fantastic place to spend a couple nights. We had a couple days with no plans leaving the races in Monroe. We’ve had pretty good luck with last-minute boon-docking plans, the compendium app has been a fantastic tool to find great locations that are free and beautiful. We really lucked out this time, almost nobody was in the campground when we arrived and there’s a prime spot on the water that was vacant, all free. The only downside is it was a blazing 98°, but it cools off nicely at night and we had a great time. Very peaceful here.
