Hello everyone, my name is Dito Ferrer and I am a Cuban who lives in Cuba.

Let me tell you a little about myself. I have a degree in Psychology from the University of Havana. I worked as a primary teacher for eight years. I am a Writer, Film maker, Sound Engineer and for a year I've been creating social content for artists and entrepreneurs.

I am a fan of knowledge and art. As a child I used to spend hours in front of the television, to the point of worrying my parents, haha. Thanks to that I developed an immense love for cinema, television and music. I was fascinated by how stories were told through pictures. That was the basis of everything that would become my professional inclinations later on.

As an adult I began to try to unleash my interests. I made my own recording studio where I produced cheap music and filmed inexpensive videos.

I had a lot of fun.

I also started writing fictional stories and worlbuilding my fantastic universes.

In my country the boom of the Internet and social networks came quite late, however I discovered the enormous possibilities of this medium to express ideas and emotions.

But the scheme of traditional social networks does not facilitate the way for artists. We are enslaved by the dictatorship of the algorithm, or by business models subject to the will of large companies. Also, given the characteristics of my country, I have blocked the main pages. I was starting to get discouraged.

Then I learned about cryptocurrencies and the blockchain and I regained hope.

Just the possibility of being part of an ecosystem controlled by the same users, without the interference of governments or intermediaries, already sounded like a game changer. A system where originality, mutual respect and freedom of expression are rewarded.

I think we live in a wonderful era. Never before the human being had the possibility of expressing himself in so many ways and in the whole world. Blockchain and platforms like this make many people's dreams come true.

This blog will be the perfect justification to capture in black and white all the stories that move me, that make me think. A space where I will seek to find meaning in reality through the stories it proposes, to interpret the world looking through the lens of their stories.

Here I will share some of my literature; stories, poems, audiovisual scripts. You will witness the birth of stories and characters that will seek to take their place in the world.

I am very excited to belong to this community of Read.Cash and to be part of this new paradigm in the way we communicate. I can only imagine everything that lies ahead.
