Today is National Internet Day. On October 29th 1969, the first word was sent via the ARPANET (Advanced Research Projects Agency Network). This network was funded by the U.S. Department of Defense that had four terminals. The terminals were located in UCLA, Stanford, UC Santa Barbara, and the University of Utah. The sender's computer crashed in the middle of sending the word "LOGIN" and it took over an hour to get the computer back up and running. It was not until years later, the late 1990's, that the internet was available to most. Just think how far we have come since that first word was sent back in 1969. We now have the Blockchain technology which we all know and love. https://ctptalk.com/@darmst5339/iaac-day-150-national-internet-day #Iamalivechallenge
