This is by far the weirdest and probably one of the most unsafe design of a building. While the slanted columns cay carry the building, it is the movement of the earth or the strong winds could cause the failure of this. The more vertical the support is the more stable it is in case of vertical structures. Anyway I would not be the one to live there.
