Solana at the brink of sub-$30 range now. Red flags have been set off all year long. Here are some reasons to be extremely cautious regarding Solana this year and going forward.
1) Sol Labs proposed a measure during one of the more severe bear weeks, passed the measure without notification to DAO members, and took ownership of a Solana address arbitrarily by creating a way for Sol Labs to "fix" a risk to the ecosystem.
2) Solana has had more than 3 outtages now, where transactions were impossible or near impossible - locking up NFTs and funds. These outtages are dismissed summarily and without the proper forensics and remediation.
3) The caretaker of Solana has mocked and jeered at Cardano dev's, explaining his viewpoint on open source contracts work with networks are of little consequence. That is to say, he has expressed his lack of care, discipline and attention frequently associated with such stewardship on behalf of a network (developer-side).
4) Solana fails to reach its TPS (transanction per second) nearly daily. 50,000 tps, advertised volume, is not 3,000~ tps where it stands nearly daily in 2022.
This is a solid case against Solana and the end of all NFTs on SOL would not be out of the near future. TPS is still down really low. The token has never recovered $50 range. The dev caretaker is careless and brags about it. Arbitrarily seizing and betraying a key tennet of decentralized crypto: taking someone's wallet, custody of it, is expressly wrong...and making this backdoor, as the 'legacy fiat' norm, for all other wallets on Solana network.

-- Leo, JLO and Clooney have been avid users of crypto for all kinds of purposes. Their people are named in the Paradise papers, a super huge leak of shell corps. Many rich and powerful people use shells to conceal their actual wealth and origins of their wealth.
The only problem with a picture like this is, they play themselves too well in the movies they're in. At the end of the day, you have a count and if it all stacks up -- there's a bill to be paid.

How society changed in the 2020's -- Corporations became militant, even to their own detriment. For example, in the past, if your marketing failed in a country, say, Japan -- you would pull the ads, apologize to the people offended and do your best to put up a marketing campaign that SAVED face at the very least, or at best, brought in more customers and more money for your brand.
Not so in 2020's. If your customers hold an opposing viewpoint on X or Y or Z topic, you can ignore the fact that you'll be alienating and creating negative word-of-mouth, losing 3 customers for every 1 customer you make.... McDonalds, is just one of the many corporations that went utterly insane in the '20's, shooting themselves in the foot and laughing about it.
Chances are, they will never get some customers back ... and to add even more irony to the mix, the same corporations seem to have become even more militant, divisive and antagonistic and suicidal from a market-to-client perspective.

Just an FYI - to my experience Crazy Defense Heroes is probably scamming players on their Android game. They promised TOWER tokens will be disbursed. I've never got them even after the 30 + excessive day wait time. My friend also didn't get their tokens for playing a lot.

Netflix StreetFood USA didn't do their research on Portland Oregon. If you've had the fortune of visiting this city, you know that more than half of the praise lavished on Portland is undeserved in 2022.
The REAL state of Portland is...
- People shooting up in the streets in sight of officers
- People prostituting openly on the streets
- Repeat police assault convicted criminals roam the streets, punching random people in 711's and Plaid Pantry stores
- The city streets smell like sewage
- Recently a refugee from Ukraine was shot while driving her car. The bullet flew threw her neck as I recall, she didn't even need to step out to get struck by this city's progressive state.
In 2022, The city that Netflix gushes over is obscenely inappropriate for tourism - lawlessness is abundant here from the top to the bottom of the ladder:

Solana NFTs: Currently a buyers market. Typically you can skip grinding ds for whitelists and maybe arbitrage a bit for something of a profit.
- Too many sellers
- Too many nft collections
- The ones that appear to be hyped or selling like hotcakes are 1) tradewashed 2) celebrity linked 3) already staked out to friends and alphaboys - so the market is delusionally convinced there are 'real' opportunities
- The market is really bear, and expendable income on nfts has dropped harshly: people are more caring than in early 2022 to spend their income, savings
If you're trading nfts, then you're an exception on Solana. Ethereum follows a similiar plotline.
-I am on the look out for opportunity NFTs, free airdrops and free mints (there's less risk of an instant bagholder moment post mint)
-I am on the look out for small, scalable purchases of NFTs in bulk > with 10-20%+ increases on price following each bear-bullish btc day. There are opportunities for little fish.
-Mining for nfts and phone apps for free crypto
-Avoiding LPs and all manner of 'useless' 'utility' dApps promising gains. Even promising products and services can't reward very lucratively at this stage.
- Scavenging is in.
- Picking a few 'blue chip' tokens and crypto and getting them at a bargain is a good idea if you can do it. Some tokens are always desirable to have in quantities.
Game Design Critique: Pokemon Go vs Nearly Every Pokemon Game Before It That Was Excellent
Playing Pokemon Go in 2022 reminds me of the reasons I stopped playing several years(!) ago. Sadly, the developers took a 'Pokemon Detective Pikachu' approach or a Kathleen Kennedy approach. Whatever you call it, it's 'different' and 'lite' and 'approachable'. More importantly, in this review, I'd say it is 'unfun'.
Here is how Pokemon Go works:
1) Player walks and clicks on map locations near them (most of the time)
2) Player enters a 'battle' screen when clicking a Pokemon
3) Player throws a poke ball to try to catch it
4) Player continues to catch Pokemon to make progress -- filling up their inventory all the time with pokemon they don't need or want to collect Candies used for "leveling" CP points of the ones they truly want
5) Player uses Poke stops to get items like Poke balls
6) Player uses Gyms and Raids with other people to get Coins used for accessories and other items. Additionally, a key pokemon may be caught after these types of Raids and Gyms are pretty much King of the Hill - mechanic. Whoever stays "King of the Hill" earns coins and merits.
That's the game.
Here is how nearly every acclaimed Pokemon game works:
1) Player walks to locations with buttons
2) Player enters battle screen by running into the pokemon physically (trainer battles) or walking in a field of battle (grass, desert, cave, etc)
3) Player may throw a pokeball to catch, or battle pokemon for exp to level up their pokemon
4) Player manages their team carefully choosing which ones they prefer to max out in skills - as some battles require certain types and some players prefer a focus on certain pokemon
5) Player generally does NOT catch every single pokemon they battle
6) Gyms contain several challengers with quips concluded with a battle with the gym leader. The gym leader is part of the lore or story of Pokemon universe
The Game Freak company know the formula pretty well, after all they made Yellow, Red, Silver, and so many more versions of this exact game it almost gives me a headache trying to remember them all.
The key mechanic missing in Pokemon Go -- and it's biggest failings -- is an emotional connection that builds from the battles themselves. Pokemon MUST level up and gain xp. Using Candies as a replacement for xp is a silly and likely a money grab stand-in mechanic for Niantic lab.
Secondly, Pokemon battles are just that. You battle, but there's no catching involved. The original and latter series all have battles and catching together. You can optionally catch, you are never forced to accumulate perpetually to make progress. XP increases the skills you can use (and that excites the player because they can do neat effects like Sleep - making an opponent fall asleep -- or some super powerful Charizard fire attack at a higher level).
(As an aside, Pokemon Go devs fell into a hole with the Raids as a result of this progression problem they created: at the end of a raid, the player is presented with a 'reward' ? Can you guess what it is? Catch the pokemon you just destroyed. Yep, and that sums up how poorly they understood the conceptual backing of Pokemon. They need you to catch something because there is no payoffemotionally for Raids -- you never really had to level up or carefully select types and attacks to replace when you levelled up your pokemon. That doesn't exist is Pokemon Go at the nuanced level in Pokemon games that came before).
Once a player gets the coolest pokemon, there is no payoff in Pokemon Go. You didn't really have to work for it, you just had to throw a ball - no battle moves used by all the previously caught "cool" pokemon. Raids and Gyms are bland for this reason -- you never "build up" your pokemon through hard work, through battles that increase XP, HP, PP, and moves available to that Pokemon.
For a game with pretty great 3D models of pokemon ( a dream for fans at one point ), it throws the REAL pokemon game mechanics that would have counted -- and fails to catch the player's heart. I highly recommend Pokemon Yellow if you're unconvinced; its an old game that has the core part down perfectly. You can learn from it. Hard work is needed to appreciate things, to enjoy things.

I've often been amused at Farmers World, for its crazy growth and I've even sold a number of NFTs -- without playing. But this top sellers / top buyers list is what gets to me - and should make a lot of people laugh.
What's wrong with this picture?
It is really, really likely that most of the top 20 accounts on either column are THE DEVS tradewashing. I can't really prove it but we had some posts earlier about it a few months back where someone was exposing their accounts for this activity.
$200K in sales per each + or more.... How many collectors on WAX are there really that do this volume of trading and on just one game? Even Alien Worlds, still #1 in terms of sales on Wax, after selling all those $10-$40k lands nfts I don't think reaches this level of silliness.
What do you think? Are these REAL players who are just super hyped?
