Jeremy Renner and Simon Pegg effectively bastardized Mission: Impossible franchise. It's kind of incredible how different the tone of the original MI movie was. It had substance and a tone unmistakably based on some truthfulness about secret agencies and agents ... But Tom Cruises' image doesn't fare well with these sidekicks. Jeremy can't be taken seriously and Pegg is just a clown. Incidentally, Jeremy sent 'di** pics' to cast, goes to show where M:I 5 is in terms of quality -- lol. Compared to the Bond franchise, Daniel Craig reinforced the tone and image of James Bond franchises, even better than with Pierce, the cowboy agent. It is not hard to understand why the studios and production companies stuck Simon and Jeremy in there -- to add MCU appeal, to make more budweiser. I'm tellin' you, Hollywood is all out of vintage and what's left is dreggs from the bottom of the barrel. Time to shove 'The Rock' into another movie I guess? (as they file through a rollodex of accused and disgraced actors and actresses that are unhirable forever). By the by, Alec Baldwin won't be showing up in any more of these... #hollywood #jeremyrenner #simonpegg #missionimpossible #lowqualitymovies #endofhollywood
