Does crypto cause environmental harm? No, it does not. The primary 'research' cited by mass media is affiliated with institutions that stand to benefit from spreading this lie. Elon is wrong and those who say BTC harms environment have no clue what they're saying. The number of farms used for processing for various blockchains does not exceed the vast number of video game consoles that are running around the globe, or gamer PC's that don't mine crypto. Yet we aren't getting environmental harm from them? Something isn't right there. Furthermore, why are those who are sounding this alarm horn themselves so steeped in buying crypto.....Again, something's amiss when alarming claims are made without masses of research to back it up. One source isn't science.
