Larger Issues of Governance In Crypto Innovation/Social Communities Social communities of humans struggle to understand a system that is decentralized, where power is shared somewhat equally (as in the concepts and schemes of crypto innovators). The need for control. For telling others what can or cannot be said. These types of behaviors are not limited to governments censoring tweets, they are inlaid in man's pride itself. For a decentralized social forum to exist, it requires 'the old man to be put away' for the new man to exist. I don't know frankly what he would look like, but I imagine he is much more logic based, much more passive and resembles an equation. The current situation on den.social isn't unique. I've seen it happening in numerous crypto communities in the span of just 2 weeks!! The pattern is like this: 1 person in a team or a group of people overseeing a project becoming unstable as a central unit. This instability leads to systemic collapse -- inefficiencies in protocol being followed for truthful governance, outright violations of protocol (bias) where rewards meted out to some and not others, where punishments doled out to others to excess... the list increases with time as the unstable individuals or people reduce their ecosystem's validity. I don't know how long a divided house can stand, but most probably feel the trickle of chaos reaching them as participants, token holders, investors, social players in the community. tl;dr Ken Bosaks ordeal this last week and Rplanet's issues the weeks before with nerfing staking sporadically. And many more to come, surely.
