DAO's continue to fail - the biggest point of failure are the teams and individual personalities behind the DAO's. Case in point: https://twitter.com/cobie/status/1537220039522545664 After an exploit harmed its users, Tribe DAO held a vote that resulted in a largely "for" vote on refunding some $80m to users. But rather than honor the vote, the team put up another vote and made sure the vote was "against" the refund. Furthermore, they used the platform to confuse the proposal ids on the site to ensure no one knew what they were voting on. Earlier this week, Solend Labs destroyed Solana by passing a proposal that was largely not seen by the community and enabled hijacking of an address (a whale) whose decision making they disagreed with. This type of plutarchical (power by wealth) vote was both dishonest and corrupted the trust in DAOs the world over.
