Alien Worlds didn't defeat bots, but the loss of value of its token TLM helped reduce some botting. Farmers World is heavily botted and people still play, botters on top, humans on bottom in terms of earnings. It is almost an economic issue, not a technical or governance of game issue. If the reward ceases to reach a certain threshold of desirability, botters will move on as there's no sense in trading nfts or game altcoins that hold no value. Some games botters don't touch. At some point, developers will measure bot usage as a sign of positive growth that should be channeled functionally toward playability and enjoyment of the game. There is a sustainable model out there somewhere that will enable automation + convenience + delay to respond to unnaturally high usage/claiming of some kinds of rewards. #farmersworld #alienworlds #botting #opinion
