US State of the Union address sounded a new tone to the Administration -- calling for peace and unity, less partisanship regarding COVID mandates and masking up. This is quite a reversal from the war-cries heard from the President not more than 6 months ago at previous speeches where the unvaccinated were called a 'pandemic' (disease). Unsurprisingly, this type of shift in tone will serve to confuse his liberal, ardent supporters and vociferous main stream media outlets.
