There is an outcry against crypto and NFTs by the Discord users of certain communities affiliated with witches, LGBT and furries. On Discord CEO's twitter, they made claims like, "crypto is a scam / NFTs are a scam" and demand the Discord CEO completely repeal his announcement about Discord and ETH partnership on the platform. Many threaten to not renew their "nitro" subscription to punish Discord for associating with what they truly believe is a scam (Bitcoin, crypto, NFTs). They also make unfounded and false claims that crypto harms the environment. It's really weird because in the near future, many of these people will likely be paid in crypto for doing their jobs in whatever field they work in - whether that's art, the service industry or seance industry, if that's a thing. Patreon and other much-loved platforms are not far behind in accepting crypto....
