Aavegotchi's were selling for $450 - $500 during the initial auctions / sales weeks. Several months on, the average price of a fairly common Aavegotchi is $1,700 or (2-3x). Additionally, NFT items you can dress your Aavegotchi with are creating additional scarcity -- with some items / outfits worth $8,000 or more, depending on the item(s) worn. I had a chance to get some Aavegotchi but the onboarding was rather unfriendly. Swapping Matic was extremely confusing via Kucoin. The unclear onboarding led to people swapping for the wrong Matic or GHST (Aave token), I'm not sure which it was... Anyway, congratulations to anyone who has purchased land or nfts in the game.
