A common pattern for NFT collectors is to buy anything they see. This can work out for you but generally if you stick to Utility First Rule - "what will I use it for?" as a guideline, you can avoid tons of needless purchases. For example, if you're playing Splinterlands NFT game - buying Splinterlands cards makes sense. It does not make sense to buy 10 NFT's that have no utility for you. This can prevent a lot of hoarding I see going on around marketplaces, for lots of kinds of NFT's but no focus in their collections.
