Humanity goals for the future
On the occasion of the end of this year 2022, which has had so many negative particularities, it is a good time to set some goals for the future as humanity. Perhaps it may be utopian, but as John Lennon would say, you have to be a dreamer.
This is the list of goals that as a collective we should pursue.
Achieve universal coverage of drinking water, sanitation and hygiene in all regions of the world.
Achieve gender equality and empower women and girls across the globe from all walks of life.
Eliminate hunger and achieve access to adequate nutrition for all human beings.
Strengthen the resilience of vulnerable communities in the face of climate change and increase measures to mitigate its effects.
Focus technological innovation towards a sustainable perspective that improves human life and protects the environment.
Improve educational processes so as to achieve greater equity and justice in access for all the inhabitants of the planet.
Minimize where possible the use of fossil fuels; promoting alternative energies such as wind, tidal or solar.
