Unpopular #anime opinion I like Uzui, the character but I don’t recommend the anime. If all you can say is “ufotable flexing their budget for KNY”, then you are just watching the anime because of the visuals. I forced husbando to watch KNY. Mind you, he WAS a huge fan of season 1 before the hype flooded and when he finished watching, he was underwhelmed. I understandably so. According to him, visuals is good but it’s all “one pattern actions”, especially fighting with the obi scenes. He also essentially dissed the movie saying Rengoku was just a turning point for Tanjiro and he had no character. Rengoku was like a diluted version of Itachi. In the sense that he died to give Sasuke more reason to be stronger. I wasn’t expecting him to go off that much but I don’t disagree with him. KNY used to be a hang-out anime for us both until the overhyped fandom destroyed it for us.
