I’ll let you in my little space for a bit. I’ve been doing digital art for 10 years, on and off. Adobe was (and still is) the thing but it’s too damn user non-friendly so I strayed away despite my desire to learn how to use it. PaintTool Sai opened the door to digital art for me. It’s the most user friendly I’ve ever used. Some years later, I’ve crossed paths with Clip Studio Paint (previously Manga Studio). It’s a total game changer and is kicking Adobe in the nuts. It’s essentially all art materials in a software. More powerful, functional and more user-friendly than Adobe. However, maybe it’s just me but it’s easier to use in a PC than in an iPad. And speaking of iPad, Procreate now is my bitch when I want to scribble a little and a lot. It has the basics of what I need. Although, I’m more of a cell shader so masking in Procreate is still difficult for me. Ultimately, I’d still want to learn how to Adobe (Photoshop & Illustrator) to make it a full circle.
