Today is the most beautiful full moon of Autumn! (Sorry for the low ass quality photo) お月見, Otsukimi or Moon-viewing, is a traditional festival in the Mid Autumn in Japan. It is enjoyed by just sitting on the porch, looking at the full moon and eating a variation of mochis such as Tsukimi Dango. It has been long believed that when you look at the moon closely, you will see rabbits pounding on mochi. That's why people in Japan often associate rabbits, moon and mochi together. How's the full moon in your side of the world?
