The cards returned to my chests! My focus today was Life and I finally reached Silver I after a week of battling in this Season. The good news is I'll have 10 reward chests for tomorrow! I won 20 of 29 battles for a 69% win rate, hit 1,693 rating points in Wild and got 7.493 SPS for those battles. I also got six more chests for a grand total of 39 End of Season reward chests! I'm advancing sluggishly into Silver I in Wild. Tough season for me! My nine chests from yesterday had 0.37 SPS, five Alchemy Potions, two Pelacor Bandit (it's a twin!), a Venari Heatsmith, and an awesome epic Revealer that it's already rented! So cool! It's awesome to have cards again, specially an epic one! Today I had an Stealth Focus and it was pretty hard in Wild. I won 17 of 28 battles for a 60.7% win rate and I got for those battles 5.345 SPS. I barely advanced in Wild with 1,529 rating points (RP) and 2,012 RP for Modern. For tomorrow I'll have nine more reward chests and I got six more for my next End of Season with a grand total of 33 chests. Well, another day with very low rewards. I'm wondering if they are really nerfed down... I cannot say properly until my Wild format reaches Silver I, and unfortunately it hasn't happened, yet. It is too hard lately in there! My rewards for my seven yesterday's chests were 18 merits, 0.243 SPS, and three Alchemy Potions. My focus today was Fire and it was a breeze in Modern, but not so comfortable in Wild. Of course, Wild winnings gave much better SPS rewards than Modern lately. I won 19 of 28 battles for a 67.9% win rate. I hit 1,882 rating points (RP) in Modern and 1,506 RP in Wild and got in total 5.525 SPS for those wins. Additionally, I played 17 battles in Wild and 11 in Modern, so you can guess were I had more losses! I will have for tomorrow nine reward chests and I got eight more for my End of Season rewards for a grand total of 27 chests. Let's see if tomorrow I could get finally in Silver I in Wild. I first battled in Wild trying to reach Silver I, but as it was clear to me that I won't pass the 1,500 rating points (RP) threshold today, I switched to Modern. In Modern I got much luckier and reached Silver I. I won 18 of 28 battles for a 64.3% win rate. Of those 28 battles, I played 16 in Modern and 12 in Wild. I got for those won battles 5.303 SPS and I hit 1,612 RP in Modern and 1,469 RP in Wild. My focus was Anti Melee and it was much harder in Wild than in Modern. For tomorrow I will have seven reward chests and I also got six more for my next End of Season for a grand total of 19 chests. Today I didn't had good rewards, either. But that's OK. My five chests from yesterday had 0.494 SPS, 14 merits and an Alchemy Potion. My Focus today was Death and it was pretty straightforward, but I didn't follow it to the word. However, I ended up battling solely in Wild and winning 19 of 29 battles for a 65.5% win rate. I got for those battles 6.741 SPS and hit 1,430 rating points, getting thus to Silver II in Wild, too! So awesome! I got for my End of Season rewards five more chests for a grand total of 13! My yesterday's rewards were not good, but it's part of being stuck in Bronze the first day of the season. My 12 chests had 0.381 SPS, 21 merits and four Alchemy Potions. The good thing is today I reached Silver II in Modern and got 9.212 SPS in battles! I also hit 1,392 rating points and won 22 of 27 battles for a 81.4% win rate! All of them in Modern format! My Focus was Earth, but I didn't pay much attention to it, either. At this moment, it's better to focus in my ranking than in the rewards. Although, I neglected a bit my focus, I'll have for tomorrow five reward chests, and I also got seven more than yesterday for a total of eight End of Season reward chests! So cool! Another hard Beginning of Season. My 11 chests today had three Alchemy Potions, 0.322 SPS, a Pelacor Conjurer, an Ever-Hungry Skull, a Vampire Bat and a Venari Heatsmith! I got back to Silver III in Wild, but Modern was so hard that there was a moment I almost get back to Bronze II. Fortunately, I did stay in Bronze I, but I ended with less rating points (RP) than I began. Just to illustrate my point: I won 13 of 28 battles for a 46.4% win rate. That means that I lost more battles than won. In addition, 21 of those battles were in Modern where I hit 822 RP and 7 in Wild. In Wild I got 1,007 RP. For those battles, I got 0.392 SPS. My focus today was Stealth, but I ignored it trying to get out of Bronze. For that reason, I only got one End of Season chests, when I usually had two, and for tomorrow I will have 11 Bronze chests, when I usually got 12. My Focus today was Exploits and I didn't pay much attention to it, to be honest. I won 18 of 27 battles for a 66.7% win rate and got for them 5.609 SPS. I also hit 1,991 rating points getting thus to Gold level rating! My 13 chests from my yesterday's rewards had this time 50 merits, seven Legendary Potions, two Alchemy ones, 0.877 SPS, a Merdhampir, a rare Venari Seedsmith, a rare Venari Bonesmith and a rare Twilight Basilisk!!! Three rares for reward are amazing! Those babies got rented almost immediately! My Focus today was Fire and it was very easy, but a single loss made me get down hard in Wild. By the way, I played one battle in Modern and the SPS reward pool in there is like a third or a fourth for a single battle win with a 100% ECR. I recommend you guys to battle in Wild, if you want to earn more SPS per battle. At least for the remainder of the present season. I won 20 of 28 battles for a 71.4% win rate. I won for those battles 6.801 SPS and hit 2,365 rating points (RP) in Modern and 1,860 RP in Wild. As you see, I didn't lose much in Wild, but it was enough to get down the 1,900 RP threshold that I like to remain by the End of Season (EOS). Well today was an epic day! Oh, yeah!!! Today I had a Defend Focus and it was somewhat easy. The problem is, the more I go up in the ladder during the last days of the season, the more rating points (RP) you lose per lost battle, so I endend up in Wild with 1,958 RP. And I had won 22 of 27 battles for a 81.5% win rate. It's nuts! Well, I can't complain, really. I got for those wins 8.467 sweet SPS. It seems people left the Wild format and switched to Modern for the last days!!! More SPS for me!!! Wow I can't believe it! Another two packs today!!! Yes!!! So cool!!! I also got 24 merits, 0.065 SPS, two Alchemy Potions, a Legendary one, an Ever-Hungry Skull, a Pelacor Bandit and a rare Exploding Rats! I'm so grateful for them! I don't know what more to say! Today my focus was Anti Melee and I almost didn't pay attention to it either. However, it went much better than yesterday and I got for tomorrow 11 reward chests. By the way, something weird is happening. It seems the majority of players switched from Wild to Modern, because the reward pool in Modern got almost dried. I've noticed this like two days ago when I played in Modern and a bit in Wild. And yesterday I didn't get enough SPS to claim them when I was in Modern. Today, as I battled exclusively in Wild, I got 6.072 for my battles, which helped me to claim my yesterday's and today's rewards. I won 18 of 28 battles for a 64.3% win rate and hit 2,068 rating points in Wild. Look! I got a pack today!!! In addition to that amazing pack, I got in my yesterday's 10 reward chests, 12 merits, 0.691 SPS, five Legendary Potions, one Alchemy Potion and a Merdhampir common card. Today I had an Anti Magic Focus, but it wasn't that profitable as yesterday. I played in Modern format only and I won 14 of 25 battles for a 56% win rate. For those battles I got 2.204 SPS, but I couldn't claim them due to the new rule of claiming a minimum of five SPS. Oh, well... In more happy matters, I got 9 chests for tomorrow and got three more for my next End of Season for a 55 chests total. I hit also 2,344 rating points in Modern. All set for rent already! I had a Stealth Focus today and it was somewhat difficult to battle in Wild. So, after some wins and lots of losses, I switched to Modern and completed my day in there. I won 16 of 31 battles for a 51.6% win rate. I won 14 battles in Modern and 17 in Wild for a nice stash of 4.188 SPS. I hit in Modern 2,265 rating points (RP) and 1,922 RP in Wild. For tomorrow I'll have 10 reward chests and I got four more for a 52 End of Season reward chests in total. It seems the devs got a minimum of 5 SPS required to claim them for rewards and battles. Wow, today was when the big changes happened! Today I had little SPS in my chests, and I was not amused, at all. However, after looking in detail the math of my daily wins, I got around 3X more than yesterday's battles. Let's begin with the rewards! My 12 yesterday's chests had 138 merits, 0.998 SPS, four Alchemy Potions, a Pelacor Mercenary and an epic Djinn Renova! Not bad, at all! My focus today was Defend and I'm going to be honest, I didn't pay any attention to it. I was too concerned with not losing and not getting down in my ranking. Today was not an easy day to battle, but at least I did recover a bit. I won 15 of 27 battles for a 55.6% win rate. 13 of those battles were in Modern and 14 in Wild. I got for those battles 5.983 SPS total, 2.902 SPS in Modern and 3.081 SPS in Wild. At current SPS and DEC prices in USD, I got today in battles more than three times the value in SPS than yesterday in DEC, for almost the same battles with less wins. I think I can get used to it!!! I also hit 2,014 rating points (RP) in Modern and 1,919 RP in Wild. For tomorrow I will have nine reward chests because, as I said before, I didn't pay much attention to the focus. I'm gonna miss those little DEC in my chests! I think tomorrow is the big change, but I could be mistaken! Today was a pretty awesome battling day! I had a Fire Focus and I won 21 of 27 battles for a 77.8% win rate. I won 8 of those in Modern and 13 in Wild. For those battles I got 144.7 DEC and hit 1,997 rating points (RP) in Modern and 1,914 RP in Wild! This means I reached the RP equivalent to Gold league that my guild requires to get a better ranking. So cool! I finally made it today into Silver I in Modern format. My Focus today was Stealth and I won 20 of 29 battles for a 69% win rate. 17 of those won battles were in Modern and four in Wild. I got 119.87 DEC for those battles and tomorrow I will have 10 chests!!! So cool! I hit 1,867 rating points (RP) in Modern and 1,642 RP in Wild. The thing is I couldn't played yesterday #Splinterlands, so, I thought it was a good time to change my playing schedule! And I began playing today in the morning. However, as I claimed my previous chests at the same time as always, today's chests were about to claim at the same hour. For that reason, I plan to open them tomorrow morning before battling and thus changing also my reward time. My previous six reward chests contained 40 DEC, 15 Legendary Potions and an awesome epic Lava Launcher that I already rented! So cool! My focus today was again Healing, but I decided to change it and I got Flying. I t wasn't as good as the previous focuses, but it wasn't boring, at least! I loathe when I had the same focus more than twice! Today I won 18 of 28 battles for a 64.3% win rate. Same as the previous battling day! However, I had won 10 battles in Modern and 18 in Wild. For those battles this time I got a bit more than 64 DEC and I hit 1,458 rating points (RP) in Modern and 1,600 RP in Wild! With that, I got into Silver I in Wild! So cool! Today I had again a Healing Focus and I was going to change it, but I thought this kind of focuses suits me much better, at the moment. So, I left it like that! I won 18 of 28 battles for a 64.3% win rate, 17 in Wild and 11 in Modern. For all those battles I got 96.7 DEC and I hit 1,470 and 1,369 rating points respectively, getting thus in Silver II for both formats, yay!!! Yesterday I said I got into Silver II in Modern, but I was mistaken. I realized today that I got in Silver II until much later this battling day. So sorry about that! Today was a pretty easy day to battle because the Alric bots are back!!! I know it sounds weird, but I will explained later. My yesterday's 12 bronze chests had 91 merits, 23 DEC, four Legendary Potions, an Alchemy one, a Pelacor Conjurer, Pelacor Bandit and a Gargoya Lion! Very good! My focus today was Healing. Although, I don't think I had taken much advantage of it, I think it didn't hurt. I won 20 of 27 battles for a 74% win rate. Eight of those battles were in Modern and 19 in Wild. In Modern I'm already in Silver II, but I still need a little push to enter also in Silver II in Wild. But hey! I'm pretty close! In Modern I hit 1,207 rating points (RP) and in Wild I hit 1,269 RP. I'm so close now!!! For those battles I got 102.6 DEC!!! The thing is today was easy because there were lots and lots of people using the old bot tactic of renting Alric Stormbringer. So, as I prepared myself for this contingency, mostly of them were easy wins. This reminds me the sweet old days of Bortus+Torhilo the Frozen! What a power couple! I recommend you guys if you are having trouble with magic in the Silver league, like battling against Alric, Delwynn or Obsidian, that look for summoners that gets down your opponent's magic in 1, like Bortus or Thaddius. Then, pair it with a good void monster like Oshannus, a Bone Golem or Gargoya Lion level 5 and throw in the line a Elven Mystic level 4 (Silver only) and you will overcome them! If you are in Silver, I strongly recommend you an Oshannus level 2 due to his phase ability. I can't understand why that card doesn't cost hundreds now. Back to my statistics, I got for tomorrow four (now Silver) chests and got five more for my next End of Season. This beginning of Season wasn't that rough than the last time, well... It's pretty much the first day! So, I better won't count my chickens before they hatch! My yesterday's 12 chests had 346 DEC, nine merits, two potions of each kind, a Pelacor Mercenary, a Pelacor Bandit and a Venari Heatsmith. Not bad! My focus today was Stealth, the same as yesterday, but I didn't changed it because I needed a focus that I could use in my favor to rank faster and I think it worked! I battled in both formats hitting 1,132 rating points (RP) in Modern and 1,011 RP in Wild. That means I got into Silver III the first day for both formats! Very nice! I won 17 of 27 battles for a 63% win rate. I won 11 in Modern and 16 in Wild. For those wins I got a bit more than 22 DEC. For tomorrow I will have 13 Bronze chests and I already collected two chests for my next End of Season! My End of Season (EOS) 70 chests weren't that good this time. I got 652 DEC, 105 merits, nine Legendary Potions, 33 Alchemy ones, an epic, two rares and 16 common cards. All regular foil. In my last day of the season I had a Stealth Focus and I got 12 chests for tomorrow. I won 22 of 29 battles for a 75.9% win rate and hit 2,157 rating points. I won for those battles 97.3 DEC and I got three more chests for my next End of Season (EOS) for a final total of 70 chests!!! So awesome!!! Very close to my highest record and I think it's possible to get even more EOS chests with a finer battling approach. Let's see what happens next Season. Today I had a great reward in my 13 chests!!! I had 174 DEC, 19 merits, 3 Legendary Potions, a Gargoya Lion, a Merdhampir, a rare Dhampir Infiltrator and a legendary Jared Scar!!! Yes!!! This game is amazing!!! I had for the first time an Anti Magic Focus and it was pretty interesting. In this focus you should use cards with void, phase and void armor. I won 21 of 27 battles for a 77.8% win rate and for those battles I got 111.7 DEC and hit 2,139 rating points! I also will have 13 chests for tomorrow! Very nice! For my End of Season rewards I got a total of 67 chests, four more than yesterday! It is pretty cool that I am so close to my 72 record. Nevertheless, that was the past season when we had 4 days more to get chests. At this point, I will have only a day more to get them. I could get very close to it, though! Wow, interesting battle day! In my today's 13 chests rewards I got 54 DEC, 45 merits, one Alchemy Potion, a Pelacor Deceiver, three Gargoya Lions, a rare Vulguine and a rare Venari Bonesmith! Not bad! Today I had a Defend Focus that consisted in using cards with Shield and Repair. I won 18 of 27 battles for a 66.7% win rate. For those battles I got 164 DEC and hit 2,021 rating points, 11 less than yesterday. Such a contradiction! The thing is I won very few rating points per win, and I even got 14 wins in a row!!! Nevertheless, for each loss, I had again around 40 less points. Luthien explained me today in SplinterlandsTV that that happens when you reach at the top of your league. But don't get confused! I'm not bragging, it's just when someone gets at the top with the big sharks, every win counts little and every loss takes a big plunge in your ranking. So, I decided that if this happens again tomorrow, I will switch formats to avoid getting so down in the ranking. Even though if I don't get much DEC. Look who appeared in my rewards 10 chest from yesterday!!! I got 10 DEC, five potions of each kind, a Pelacor Deceiver, a Blood Maker, an epic Tide Biter, and an awesome Legendary Venator Kinjo!!! Now with my previous rewarded legendaries I'm the proud owner of a level 2 Kinjo!!! So cool!!! Today was a weird battling day. Don't get me wrong, I won big time today. However, every time I won a battle, I only got very few rating points, like 2 , 3 or 6 maximum. But, when I lost a battle, the subtracted points were around 40 each time. I even got a 10 wins in a row streak! After I reached my maximum of 2,160 rating points I ended down with 2,032 rating points!!! 28 points less than yesterday!!! What happened!?!? Nevertheless, I won 21 battles of 26 for a 80.8% win rate and got 213.1 DEC for those won battles. For tomorrow I will have 13 chests and I also got 55 End of Season chests, five more than yesterday! I battled less today to recover a bit my capture rate for tomorrow. For my yesterday's 10 chests, I got 68 DEC, three Alchemy Potions, two Legendary potions, a Vampire Bat, a Pelacor Conjurer, a Merdhampir, a Pelacor Bandit, a rare Venari Seedsmith and a rare Twilight Basilisk! Six cards in a daya dn two of them rares! Long time without such cards quantity! I had another Healing Focus today, but unfortunately, it wasn't that easy than yesterday's. I won 15 of 29 battles for a 51.7% win rate. I got for those battles 131 DEC and hit 2,060 rating points in Modern. For tomorrow I will have 10 chests and I got 50 chests for my next End of Season rewards. Four more than yesterday!
