I made a horrible, horrible mistake today. But before telling you that story, let me show you first what I got in my yesterday's chests. I got a rare Twilight Basilisk, a Venari Heatsmith, a Pelacor Mercenary, 20 DEC and one potion of each type. I love that little lizard!!! Well, my focus today was Death and as I was a little tired of it, I changed it for Fire. Nevertheless, when I was going to battle, I thought it would be a good idea to test a new renting system, it was all automated and it seems like a very cool idea. I wanted to rent some cards to get down my collection power a bit and then when I was browsing my currency activity to check if I had more DEC than the ones in the picture (just a safety measure), I began seeing something weird... Lots and lots of fees for rentals! I checked around and it seems I did rent a big chunk of my deck. Half of it, in fact!!! I was like, "oh no! what have I done!?". I canceled all the rented cards and those who weren't rented, I got back immediately. However, the ones I did get rented had a cool down period of 24 hours. What a disaster! The guy from the service told me I was lucky enough to have done it today, because tomorrow the cool down period will be risen to 48 hours. Could you imagine that? Well, for that reason with all my key cards and most gold foils rented, I sucked big time playing in Modern today, and as I didn't have enough collection power to battle in Silver I, I stayed away from Wild. I won 8 of 23 battles for a miserable 34.8% win rate. The good thing was, as I was in Modern, with all eight battles I got 29.7 DEC. A very similar quantity as if I would have been battling in Wild. The bad news is, I got only one chest for tomorrow and one more for my next End of Season for a grand total of 43 chests. I managed to stay in Silver II with a 1,301 rating points. I'm such an idiot! Let's cross fingers and hope I don't get a single potion tomorrow in my chest. However, if it does, I deserved it for being an idiot! #Splinterlands #playtoearn #play2earn
