Sometimes We Ignore Culture To Follow Our Minds
Culture is one of the things that characterizes us in our daily lives. Obedience to culture would often bring us a blessing from our creator, as they said. In many cultural practising countries today, people are being forced to do everything the culture says just like in the case of not marrying from a particular tribe, not eating this food, girls deprived of education and others. Although it's the culture, why are we to obey everything they tell us. Why is the culture dictating our way of life?
12th of July 2012, there was this beautiful girl, Sharon. Right from when she was small, she had always wanted to become a soldier and when she told her Dad who is also a soldier that she wants to be like him. Her dad who happens to be a cultured person to get all his father's blessings said No, that it is forbidden for females to join the military moreover to kill someone rather she should grow up, marry and start a family. These statements disappointed the little girl, but when there is determination, there is hope. Sharon was the only girl child though, the rest was boys, and she had everything one could mention. Sharon didn't bother about her father's words, as her big brother would help out.
There were 3 boys, Lenny the eldest, then Kjaer and the youngest who's also Sharon younger brother is Alex. Sharon was always ready to become someone, but the word culture was against her will. Who will give up his or her dreams just because of culture? Sharon told her eldest brother Lenny about her dreams, he was quite amazed as no one in the family except her wants to be a soldier like a father. Lenny having to love his sister so much made a deal with her, and he was going to cover all her actions. Sharon was in high school then in the final class. And when she is done, according to culture, she was going to stop schooling, stay at home and learn how to be a good wife. A young girl who has a long way to go will be learning etiquette to become a good wife. What a strange culture!
Sharon told Lenny she wants to go to the gym frequently to keep herself in shape. Lenny agreed but at a particular time. Every Saturday, Sharon would leave home in the morning and come back in the afternoon, Lenny would say she went to visit her friend. Since their parents were always buying it, it became a routine for him to say, but he would change it at times. One of the Saturdays, Sharon went out to write the military entry exams and dressed appropriately. Her mom began to notice that Sharon body has changed a lot, her hips enlarged. She then asked Sharon how her hips increased all of a sudden? She couldn't say the truth because once the truth is out? She will be restricted from going out. The house security is more than you can imagine.
They lived in their hometown. So, she said she was taking hips enlargement pills. What a beautiful lie. Her mom gave her a look she doesn't understand, and she quickly said mom, I'm not lying. What are we eating today? I'm seriously hungry, Her mom told her to go eat the cake in the fridge, as the food isn't done. Her father is someone who is always with the elders doing what they like doing best, learning old practices of their good culture. Lenny then called his sister, telling her that, don't you think it's time to tell everyone your plans? She quickly said no, that she's waiting for the results to come out before she can spell a word. She further begged him to hang on. Sharon owes her big brother a lot. It would take a month before the results come out.
She still needed to go to the gym. She headed out one Saturday, but the guard on duty said that we are going to follow you to where you're going today, Sharon was like... Hey, you can't follow me, I don't need a guard. The guard responded that her mother gave the orders. She said my mo.. mo. Did mom give you the orders? She quickly called Lenny to see if he could talk to them, as they weren't listening to her. Lenny came from inside to air off the matter, but they still refused. Lenny then said he is going to follow her, they shouldn't worry and go back to their posts. The both of them left, they reported to Madam that they couldn't follow Sharon to where she was going because she already left with her brother, Lenny.
Well, Kjaer and Alex were not the types to be sticking their nose around even if they know where they went. Alex own was that his big sis is going to buy goodies for him, so he never had the mind to report her and Kjaer on the other hand is an introvert, no one dares to come in his way, his weakness was the girl he loves, though. Only his siblings knew about her. Lenny had to wait for Sharon to finish up her exercise, you must know how bored Lenny would be. After that, they went to the grocery store to get things for some kids in their hometown and of course getting Alex something to shut his mouth.
Lenny asked Sharon to stop her exercise in the gym as a mom is already getting suspicious of her activities. She agreed and said she would do some exercise in her room every morning and go help some elders down the street to carry their loads. Lenny drove back home and did shower and slept while Sharon picked up her phone and to her surprise, she saw a message that she passed the examination. She ran hurriedly to Lenny's room, barge in the room and jumped on him... Like seriously, she jumped on her elder brother. She told him that she passed the exams. He was like, was that why you jumped on me? Sharon has frustrated Lenny throughout the day and must be difficult for him to endure it. He jokingly told her, tell him when he wakes up again. She left his room kind of with a frown face.
She said she has something to say. Before her father could say a word, she said she wants to avoid marrying, and they should go. It was shameful to visit family.
Father was angry, and he immediately disowned his daughter, saying she is a disgrace to the family and the tradition. Mother couldn't talk because women views are not always heard. They believe women are not mature. Alex was crying because he doesn't want his sister to leave him. Sharon was ready for it, so she's to go to the military camp for her training and others. Her siblings gave her money to use to survive, and she had some savings. The boys had a difficult time living on without their sister's presence. But they had to. On the other hand, Sharon was doing extremely well.
The circumstances in which she found herself isn't bearable at all. A few years later, she was inducted into the military after her father tried using his connections to remove her from the military.
Her father was really against her dreams. It didn't work, moreover. Lenny and Kjaer had left the house to live on their own. It was only Alex.
Alex was now a big boy, and he joined a bad set of friends who disguised that they were good guys. He often brought them home and father wouldn't talk since they were all boys. They knew almost all parts of the house. Then they plan to rob the house on the day they're celebrating a festival. And their families all return to the house, only Sharon was missing due to her actions. The joy wasn't complete, though. Alex's friends were already ready for their glorious mission that night. During the celebration, the guards and everyone were marrying until gunshots started. All the guards were slaughtered without mercy. They barged into the house. In fear, all of them lied down, Lenny quickly texted his sister to help them out. As she saw the text, she knew this was her time to prove to her family what she's become. She asked him to stay still. Lenny felt a little relaxed as he knew his sister would come for him. Aside from that, I have always protected her when she was still around, so she would come for us.
Before everyone knew it, lights went out. We started hearing screaming and the lights went on back. All the bandits were on the floor. The baby has used a silencer. She didn't kill them though, just injuries. She walked towards her mother, took off her mask and said it's me, Mom. I came to rescue all of you. The 3 boys went to surround their sister and gave her a big hug. She went on to remove the bandit's disguising mask. And Alex saw that it was his friends who came to rob them. The case was left for the Police to handle. Sharon and Father stared at each other for some seconds and Father said, come here, my princess. I'm sorry for everything. Sharon was in tears as she said, I miss you, Papa. Father took back his words and accepted her back into the family. The joy was now complete.
Pursuing your dreams despite what culture brings is what we should uphold. If she had obeyed culture back then, Alex friend's would have been accomplished.

Does And Don't Above 40 Years Of Age.
While still young, we still have the body remaining argyle and ready for some kind of hard work which someone old cannot do. So, during this tender age, you are allowed to do or carry out this kind of hard work undoubtedly, but after 40 years, there must be limited to some kind of hard work you do.
There is no doubt that despite been having a limit to the kind of work you do, no one can erase the fact that exercise is special to the body. So, as you grow older, there may be some kind of food which you must run away from.

Always visit the doctor for a medical check-up.
This will make it possible to know your health issues whether there is any sickness I'm you or not. It is a kind of first-hand treatment for any kind of sickness that may likely occur to you.
A man who took work more than his health met his doom after the doctor told him to rest just because of the high Blood pressure he had. He refused to relax, instead proceeded to his work and then met what he was supposed not to meet. He died for not listening to his doctor. So, we should make sure to always follow the doctor's advice at all costs.
Exercise:
Exercise is very much good for the body. It can make your body physically fit and also free from any kind of sicknesses. Carrying out exercises at 40 and about is the best as it can also have the benefit of fighting against cancer. I don't know if you know that exercise can reduce the risk of cancer? So, exercise can make you stronger and active, which will show the sign of readiness to work at all costs.
Rest:
Ensure to rest after much work because it is not easy to stress oneself without resting, go for a picnic and never on earth leave your family because they are important to you. While going out, take your family for an outing with you to ease stress.
Regular reading:
Yes, this aspect is better, and reading can keep your mind intact. It can keep you going in life and can make you know the recent happenings. This ISS why you must always read through newspapers.
Reading can revive your brain and can make you not remain dormant. Always read books to keep you busy and abreast of what the world is saying.
Always go for outings:
Take your wife and children for picnic to ease stress. Also, move out to mingle with friends to keep your body busy. Going for outings should be your priority since you can be sometimes work free.
**What you should not do at 40**
Do not take excessive alcohol:
I have seen many adults who have gotten to the age of 40 years and above, that are still having the mind of taking excess alcohol. There is danger in drinking it in excess, most, especially those cancer patients. It can aggravate cancer and can cause kidney and liver disorders.
I have seen in an article that one should take one glass cup of red wine daily. This can help in keeping your health fit. I don't know how true that statement is, but so not take it in excess. Many people who take it in excess lose weight and are not healthy. Many young guys will say, it gives them inspiration
Do not smoke:
The truth is that those that do produce cigarettes wrote in the park that **smokers are liable to die Young**. So, there is a risk of having lung disorders and liver failure while smoking. This is because the carbon coming out from the cigarette will block the free flow of air passing through the pulmonary tracks. So, smoking, most especially over 40 years, should be stopped if you are the type who still have the zeal of still embarking on smoking.
These I have given are to my knowledge, and there are some others you can still do and also not do. So, be careful of how you play with your life and how you joke with your life. Remember that health is better than wealth. If you want to make money without good health, it cannot work out.
The Only True Beauty Is In The Inner Most Heart
Mercy is a little growing girl who happened to be hard-working. She is a well-cultured girl and has manners. Deep in her heart lies kindness, and she has the mind of giving freely to the needy. She came from an average home with a brother and two sisters. She is the second among the other two girls. This boy is their elder and dislikes giving his properties to people.
Mercy has a little problem, which happened to be the aspect of beauty. She is seen as a girl filled with ugliness. No one likes her, and she loves mingling with people. She only has a beautiful friend, but tend to take her as a friend since she is the only one who accepted who she is. Boys in her class ignored her anytime she is talking. This means they dislike her and her words.
She was still at the age of 16 and in her teens, she has known to be kind even though people dislike her. Meanwhile, there was a guy who always eyed her with her ugliness. The guy is also a nice guy with a kind heart. It was as if they were just in for each other. People and friends have been seeing this guy with the girl, and one way or the other try hard to convince this guy not to get attached to the girl. They went further to tell him that the girl is too ugly for a fine guy like him.
He responded that he did not know what is pushing him to the girl, but he loves this girl to the brim. He told those who were scolding him to leave the girl that, he saw what people and guys did not see in this girl. The boy happened to come from a well-known and reputable family. He knew that if he is done with his education and finally takes this Mercy to meet his parents, it will.be a disgrace to his family, but he has no choice.
Since they are still young, he started building Mercy to up. Although, he knew vividly that Mercy is beautiful in the heart, but not outside.
After their secondary school, they both went to the same university and behold, it was love all through. After their third year, he took Mercy home to meet his parents that he would like to settle down with her, but to his surprise, his parents rejected Mercy just because of her ugliness.
While his parents were out, Mercy took time to make her character known. She took pains to make the house look like paradise. She mobbed the whole house and clean up every corner of the house.
When they were gone to school, the parents were surprised to have seen their house glowing like the sun. They concluded that this alone cannot still convince them of the kind of girl their son is bringing to the house. So, the parents looked for a pretty girl who has no stains from head to toes. She sent for her son to come home from school, which he did. Unknowingly to him, t was a girl who his mum arranged for him. He was so annoyed, but could not react, just because it was his mum.
The girl in question did not know how to sweep and also do not know how to prepare common food. She was tested by his mum to prepare a dish for the house, but to her surprise, the soup was filled with salt. They were unable to eat the food just because of the lots of salt in it. So, getting to morning, period, she was supposed to sweep the surroundings and the house, but she was still on the bed until it was late in the morning before she was able to wake up.
She could not sweep, neither could she prepare breakfast for the house. This shows the laziness and lack of home training she has in her.
Her parents did not waste time before sending her back to where she came from. The parents again invited their son, but this time with Mercy. The boy was surprised, hearing that from her. So, he told mercy that his parents want to see them both. She did not believe initially, but cannot doubt his guy, who he has loved from secondary school.
They went home during the weekend when they were having nothing doing. This means they were not having classes and their school is not very far from home. So, they laid his parents to visit. After reaching the house, Mercy was like the ground should open for her to enter after seeing her guy's mum coming. The mum did not say a word but wanted to know the behaviour of Mercy. So, she asked Mercy to go to the kitchen to prepare food for the family, which she did. Within a few hours, food was ready, and the family went to the dining to eat. The mum was thinking the same will also happen, just like the girl who put lots of salt in the food. So, after tasting the food, she ate the food like never.
After eating, she sat Mercy down to know who taught her how to cook and to know all about her family. She explained vividly without missing words. She came from an average known family who happened to be so decent. Furthermore, she was trained to the brim and also was trained on how to take care of the home. Not only that, but she came from a Christian background. So, the boy's mum was convinced.
Very early in the morning, mercy waked up to clean up the house and made food for the family. When they woke up, they saw food in the dining, which got the boy's parents surprised and also convinced them more to accept their son to marry Mercy.
Finally, they were through from the University, where they both came out with good grades. To be sincere, the one who they saw to be ugly became beautiful.
**Lesson**: There is a fact you all need to know here, the true beauty is inside, while the beauty you always see outside may not be the real beauty but the outer beauty. Not all that glitter are gold, but the real hold is deep inside. So, we should choose between inner beauty and outer beauty.
Although, there is some outer beauty that is also beautiful inside, but is rare. The inside beauty can always remain beautiful forever, while the outer beauty can always fade in due time.

Never Again
Life is all about ups and downs and so, there are some things we are not doing very well or some things we want to put very right and also some things which have given us sadness. All which we either want to let go or bring back to our lives.
In life, no one or human is 100% good or nice. I'm not excluded. We have our various individual differences which remove the perfection from us all. So, trying to be good is what we should all long for.
I got this topic from a speech made by ex-president of Nigeria, President Goodluck E. Jonathan on his victory in the destruction of Zambiza Forest. This was where Boko Haram was first residing. It was a victory for him, and he made the statement **Never Again Should We Experience Boko Haram In Nigeria**. Although he was not allowed to continue to see if truly he has finished destroying Boko Haram for sure, the case worsens when the present president assumed office.

There are many things we would love to put a stop to in our lives. The best is to take a step now before they become impediments to you, or before they cause your downfall. **So, let's go**...
- **Never again should I follow a friend who cannot add meaning to my life**: Some friends cannot support you at any time and any day, but will always try hard to look for means to take you down. They don't want your progress, neither do they want you to succeed in life. They are ready to siphon the little you have and in the end, will take heed from you waiting for the next time you will have again. Friends who do not add meanings to your life are not called friends but are called enemies. Your worse enemy is that friend who never wants to impact success into your life but is succeeding.
- **Never again, should I run away from God's words**: Do you know that there is light in the words of God? When you read through and follow the words of God, you shall be groomed on how to take good care of your life and yourself in general because in him, there lies comfort. Following him is like walking to your greatness. He is the one who has brought out many from bondage and indeed can also do the same to us all. Being groom in his words can make you the best in life and can make you know the truth in whatever you are doing. This is because he is the truth and the light. In him, there is no darkness. So, this kind of God is the one we should all follow. He has the power to protect his people and also the power to provide for his people when they are lacking. What you just need to do is to follow his words and teachings and also tell others what he has done for you.
- **Never again should I sit dormant doing nothing**: This is a sign of laziness. We should cast out laziness from our lives, as this can make us dormant and go hunger. Do you know that when you do not wake up to fight hard to make it in life, you are more than lazy? Yes... Believe me, the best is to wake up and work very hard. Nothing is too small for you to do. You can start small, but later you shall become great. Many today have been frustrated and decided to join bad gangs and others joined ritualism who embark on killing innocent souls. All these are signs of laziness. Your sweat is the real money, but not the one got by killing people.

Also, keeping mute without saying a word, will make such a person believe what he has taken is for him for sure. So, be sure to always raise alarm as what the person has taken is your entitlement, but not his or hers.

The Kitchen Is Meant For Both Husband And Wife
When I was still a boy just like some of you right here, I always have some thoughts within me about the way I will behave when I get married. I was thinking that women are the ones who will always be in the kitchen. I'm pretty convinced that most of you here have the same thought when you were still single and also some of you that are yet to marry have the same thought as well
There is a saying that the kitchen is made for women. This statement in this present day is fundamentally wrong and has been considered invalid to me, I don't know of those who are married right here.
If I may ask, **DO YOU STILL HAVE THE SAME THOUGHT WITHIN YOU AFTER GETTING MARRIED**? I don't think so, except if you are lazy. It is the lazy men who do not love their wives or do not want to do anything called cooking that do treat their wives in this manner.
Yes, the kitchen is meant for women, but the men can also go to the kitchen to prepare food for the family. A man who has the belief once was so strict with his wife and also has a timid mentality. He has been deceived by his friends not to go to the kitchen and was told that the kitchen was meant for only the women. He followed this advice with all sincerity and later got a problem with his wife since he cannot meet food on the table all the time.
Even when the woman is tired or sick, this man will still not go to the kitchen but will allow the sick wife to prepare what the family will eat. What insolence. One day, he went to the house of his friend, who advised him to always allow the wife to go to the kitchen. Before, he told him that he does not cook for the wife and also for the family, that the wife always does the cooking. He said for a man, going to the kitchen is an insult. This was what he told the friend, and he believed him to the fullest.
On getting to his friend's house, guess what he saw!!!... It was like a surprise to him when he met his friend busy preparing food for his wife in the house. He went to the friend's place uninvited, and he saw the worst. He later regretted heeding the advice of the friend. With annoyance, he ran to apologize to his wife and even cook for the wife and the family, which got the wife surprised.
So, the kitchen is not just meant for women alone, but men are allowed to cook. There is something you must take note of right now, I was having that mentality when I was yet to get married, but after marriage, it became the other way around. I do help my wife in the kitchen a lot and, I can bet you that, sometimes I wash clothes when I'm less busy. This is another thing some men cannot do. They hate washing clothes, most, especially their wive's clothes. I have heard it before from a guy that he cannot for once wash his wife's bra or underwear.
I take children's clothes including my wife's clothes to the bathroom when I have the chance. It does not take anything from me, neither will it cut a hair from my head. So, I don't know what people's reactions might be, but that's what I have been doing and instil remain the man of the house come rain come shine.
A woman can respect you the most when all those things are being done to assist her. This is a sign of love. What do you think is love? Doing what you are supposed to do at the right time, but not ignoring some fact that you are a man and cannot do what you are supposed to do.
People who may hear this may tag you human wrapper, but the fact remains that, that is what you suppose to do, and it is your right. So, there is no big deal helping your wife with the house chores.
Do not feel shy or feel embarrassed when people see you doing it. You are a man, and that man in you shall never be taken away from you.
Remove Anger From Your Head
I watched a video of a child whose parents took to school to resume with the school. The little girl was so adamant and stubborn. She wants to avoid listening to anyone's words. It might be that that's what she was taught, or she has been seeing people filled with anger.
She was so angered and decided to spoil things. She truly destroyed many things, including her books and all her clothes. Before then, she was taken to a hostel where she has to stay. She initially accepted, but later refused while alone. Her anger was just too much and while scattering her items and the items in the room, many teachers were watching her. They were not ready to calm her down, but wanted to wait to see her best actions before taking her out or dealing with her.
Now, I have some ways I can deal with such a child.
Flogging: According to God's words the best is to use cane and remove that madness in her mind as it is said in the Bible that spare not the ride and spoil the child. So, it is better to use cane to flog her to correct her senses. In another way, flogging is not adopted in schools, so one can also use another method, except if the child is at home.
My child cannot try such madness but must ensure to be quiet or else, I have to discipline her by using cane.
Watching from a distance allow the child to vent the anger in her but making sure she does not injure herself/classmate. The teachers initially left her alone to kept on with her anger before looking for solution to correct her. So, such child must be kept and left alone to act, and after acting, comes next will be punishing.
Ask her or investigate the cause of her anger and venting. As a teacher or a parent, seeing your child in this condition supposed to make you to call her to know the true reasons she has this kind of behavior.
She might have one or several reasons to have put up this act.
After the venting and cooling, make her clear, clean, sweep and rearrange all the mess she has done without leaving a pin. This will make her to get a little sense because she has overreacted. No one will help her to pack those mess she has done, so she has to pack those things herself or else, she will be made to sleep in the mess just like that.
Sit her down and make her realize what she has done, and tell her the parents will be responsible for all the damages she has caused. Remember she is not at home, but in the school, so you must make her to know what she has done so that she will not try that again. As a teacher, you wouldn't want others to see what she has done because there are many who will copy her behavior. So, take her to where you can give her lots of advice to calm down her brain.
After that, let her tender apology to the whole class in front of the class, especially the teacher. This will make her know the wrong she has done and will also make others who have seen her not to copy her rude and unruly behavior. So, she must apologize to everyone in her class and will also give round the offices to apologize to the teachers one after the other.
Let her be isolated, sit alone for about two days without anybody interacting or any form of interaction, but her class work and activities should not be affected. This is a character that demands proper isolation so that next time she will learn the effect of what she has done. Isolation should be the best option.
By the end of the isolation, she should have realized the usefulness of human relation and the effect of 5minutes madness in her.

Life After Child
As a child, there is a life you have to live which is different from the life of an adult. Life during a child was a bird of roses. Do you know that, there was a day I saw a child been carried every day, this got to come into conclusion that the children are enjoying? They are always carried about without having stress.
The adult, on the other hand, have been the ones passing through stress and have been the ones who always carry the children from one place to the other. Children are enjoying, but will later grow to be an adult.
The fact remains that we were once like them, and also, they must behave the same way we were behaving. We should not always and must not joke with our children because they are our future.
A man in my area was given a nickname which says, **a day passes will increase the day of the man**. So, when each day passes, your age cannot remain the same but will keep on increasing. Someone said, who is the elder between you and me? The answer I gave was that, I'm older than you. Do you know what he said? He said, that you will die before me. So, I'm happy that I'm still younger. Hehehe...this was what made me laugh when I'm alone and happened to remember this statement.
There are some things we were doing when we were still children, but now we cannot do that any longer.:
Children cannot do without playing: My children can jump from one place to the other to play from pillar to pole. They love to play, most, especially when they are with their mates. Being in the midst of their mates can give them morale to play the more without seizing, but when you make an attempt of flogging, they will maintain and keep calm. Some kids can prove so adamant and do not want to listen to simple advice. This kind of life is not the best but the worst. As a child, you should always learn how to honor your parents and also your elders.
My parents, after breaking Coconut, will tell you not to drink the water of the Coconut. There was a kind of threat that whom you drink it, you will.not.be able to have knowledge. This has been making me back them to fear Coconut water, not knowing that, they were just threatening me and do not want me to know how the water tastes.
Life when still, a child was very much simple and nice. I read on someone's post that when she was a child, she always goes to school with her friends that she does not walk alone to school. This fact is true because it is applicable to me when I was still a child. I had one friend, we always move together and do things together. I don't walk alone to school.
As a child, your parents serve you food, and you must eat to your satisfaction. That cannot be compared when you have grown up. When you grow up, you have many loads on your shoulder. You have to carry many load as you have to take care of your children, take care of your wife, crack your brain on how to make ends meet in others to meet up with your mates.
So, life as a child is a nice life and a life to live.
Now, life after child is as tough life. It is a life which does need hardworking and struggling to make ends meets. Every adult do not want to remain indoor and lazy, but they want to go out and fend for themselves since they are no longer children. It is only the child who does not want to work very hard and also does not know how to make money. Adults can move from pillar to pole to ensure they cater for their children. No parents want to allow hunger to overtake their family.
So, life after child is a life where you have to fight. A life where you have to plan for success. A life where you have to go out to for the survival or your family. Man must survive and man must eat. So, when our family survive, we also survive as well.

Clearing The Bush Does Not Mean You Should Clear The Piece Of Land.
A farmer always goes to the farm to clear the farm and to clear the piece of land to ensure that the grasses are properly cleared. After clearing, the piece of land will be neat. This is how our lives are. The way you treat yourself and the way you treat your life will determine how people will address you. Be sure to always remain true to yourself and be true to your whole life. Never allow people to look down on you, but you must ensure to make yourself pure and tree from evils. Evil can destroy you and your personality.
Life is a bed of roses, but many today do not believe this fact. When you have problems, the fact is that you have to solve such problems yourself instead of leaving it for someone to a doughnut for you. No one will die your death, but you have your life to live. Be careful of how you behave because you have been watched by many people. You may be thinking that you are the only one who knows about yourself, but many know about what you have in life.
There is a saying that, no one clear the sky with Cutlass before the sky becomes white. It is through the power of God. The whiteness of God is through God, but no one else.
Clearing the land does not mean holding a Cutlass to clear the piece of land, but yourself. You need to take play your game well so that people will not look down on you. We have our different grievances, but learning how to clear ourselves should be Paramount.
Keep yourself clean and ensure to clear your life by clearing your mess. You might have caused problems or problems in one way or the other, but learning how to settle yourself should be your priority. Be wise because you cannot buy wisdom from the market, but it lives in you.
Any form of wisdom is in you. You are foolish does not mean you cannot change because no one is born foolish. We are all born with wisdom, but the way you act or the way you behave can always make you foolish. Foolishness is in the mind of the foolish, while wisdom is in the mind of the wise. So, we all should be wise and apply wisdom while dealing with any form of problem.
Some people have destroyed their personalities. They have made themselves dirty and can always be hard to bathe yourself in the presence of others. Some according to what a saying which I always say made it known that THOSE PEOPLE WHO HAVE MESSED UP, HAVE POLLUTED THE CHURCH.
We should always remain whole in the presence of people.

There is a prayer I always pray to my God. This prayer is about my hands and the works of my hands. I have been praying to God to bless the works of my hands. I have been working so seriously and asking God to bless the works of my hands means a lot as this will make me to be successful. God shall grant you your request, only if you believe.
**Now back to business**
The hands are powerful in many ways. It is powerful in all ways, and we all need to accept this factor.
**Voting**: In the hand lie your thumb, or forefingers or any finger they want to use. What you always do is to press your thumb on a paper.
Your thumb is your power in terms of voting. Without placing your thumb, voting is not possible, and you alone can decide that if you will use it well. Much today does not know how to use their thumb well and try to sell their right which suppose not to be.
This means you must learn how to use your thumb in other not to be a vote cheater. When you sell your thumb, this means you have chosen the wrong person to be your leader. This is what many people have done today and are seriously regretting for their wrong decisions they have made.
**Working**: Yes... With the hand, we can carry out any kind of work we chose to. It is as means of making success happened in life. Your hands can bring you **positivity**. It can make you be successful and wealthy when used properly, but can make you the best life. The hands can change your life for the better. Many people today, have used their hands to work which in turn is the best option. How can you carryout any kind of work without the use of the hand?
Many today have used their hands and did not make headway. This means the hand can bring negativity to someone if not properly used. Some can even go a long way to use their hands to get involved in bad act such as robbery. They got themselves bad names which cannot be erased. Some, which can be erased only if you change for better.
So, it's your choice. Which every one you chose is your choice, but making use of your hands in a normal way or a way that will bring you success is the best one can do. Be determined and make your hands the best way or method to achieve success in life.
We use the hands to gather and also to destroy. When you gather, you make good tidings, but when you destroy means you are destroying your personality. Be wise in the way you use your hands.
So, why can't you use your hands to work properly? Why can't you use your hands to make money and make success out of life? Why can't you work with your hands and make things easy for you? The hands can be fruitful when you work with your hands successfully, but will not work out for you when you use your hands in a negative form.

There Is Need To Ask Properly Before Believing
There is always need to ask before believing what people because this is life. Nobody knows what you are doing, neither you equally do not know what others are doing. So, there a is always need to ask properly before intruding.
One cannot just move into a place he or she did not know without finding out what that person is doing. Who knows, it may be something that can turn intour life to something you did not dream of. This is one of the major reason why we must ask properly to confirm if you are ok in the right place.
Tow friends who have lived together for so long and have done things together happened to be in the same town. They were childhood friends who were so closed and indeed were livinginothe gether on same house. They went through hard were and where so much fighting hard to make it through in life, life seems to be tough and hard to the twoThey them. The promised each other to always help each other whena there is need to or when anyone of them makes it to the top.
After some years, one decided to move to the city to hustle for life to be easy and simple with him. He has been striving hard to ensure that one went one successful, which after some years, he made it through. He became wealthy and famous. This happened through one of the friends he met in the city. Now,
He made it through and forgot his friend in the village. He was truly famous and was helping people in all ways. One faithful day, his friend he left from the village, .happened to travel to the city for one reason where he met his childhood friend that they have stayed together from small. He took him to his house which got him happy and was looking as if he has not seen such house in his life. Now, after entertaining him, he asked him some questions, which was very much right to ask.
He asks him that, how did he make it? He responded that it was complicated and, undoubtedly, he did not disclose to him but took him to the place he got his money from. The one who was not rich was surprised and toldshem that her can never get involvea d in such thing in life. The fact remains that, he did not ask properly before moving ahead with his friend to where he made his money.
He later a went with home friend and was told that he will be initiated and if he refused to join, he will die undoutotobtedly. So,regretted for going along with his friend.
Sometimes, we need to verify properly btoe we jump into conclusto. Jumping into conclusions cannot help you, but verifications can help a lot.
A Story I Was Told By My Grandparents
To me, my grand Pa has told me countless stories which has great meaning and has impacted knowledge into my life.
**Now, let get back to work**
When I was still a kid, my grandpa once told a great story which goes thus:
Story story....!!!!... Then, everyone will respond story!!!
Once upon a time, there live a couple who were wretched and cannot fend for themselves. They have three children out of which are just staying at home without doing anything. The wife on the other hand has nothing to do other than going to the farm to fetch firewood to sell. The villagers do not buy things from them, and they were like rejected.
At a time, they were rejected for what they do not do, and the villagers refused to attend to them in terms of rendering them alms. The man is a great fisherman who loves fishing to the core. He always goes to the stream to catch fish with a net, but many times he does come back home with nothing (empty-handed).
Everyone in the village has written the family off by saying that there is nothing they can do to progress in life. So, one faithful day, he went to the river for fishing after lots of trials, all efforts were proven abortive, but he only caught a small catfish. Something told him not to kill the fish. He began the journey home from the stream where he heard a voice saying, please...please....please...take me back to the stream. At a time, he was confused and tried to look around to see who was talking, but he could not find anyone around. He began his journey and suddenly heard the same voice which came directly from his bag that the fish contained. He opened the bag and once again the fish told him to return it to where he took it from.
The fish said, if you can take me back, definitely **I will bless you and I will give you whatever you deserve in life**. On hearing those words, he decided to take the fish back. The fish told him that, he can be coming to make any forms of requests he may need or that may be difficult for him. Before he released the fish, he made one demand that if true, what he said are true. He demanded that he was not having a house and that the fish should give him a house of his own before he gets home. **The fish replied, it has been done** and truly when he got home, he saw the wife and children in the house. The children and his wife were surprised, but he told them all that happened.
Now money has come, and the woman who was so pathetic became something else. He told the husband that, he should go back to the fish and demand that for her to have her clothes to wear, which the man did and indeed it was done. The woman, again, told the husband to go back to meet the fish and demand the fish to hive them, guards, since they have their house and many things are in the house to kid thieves penetrating their house. The man again went, and his wish was granted.
That was not enough, the woman once again told the husband that since they are the richest in the community, she wanted to become the queen of their Community. Initially, the husband felt reluctant because a king is a nice man, and he wouldn't do anything to hurt the king's feelings. The wife persuaded him, and he finally agreed to go to request the fish. When he got there, he related the issue with the fish, the fish said to the man **you are a greedy man** you are someone who is not grateful and someone wicked. So, with this, the fish seized everything that has been given to him, and they went back to the same condition they were.
**LESSON**:
- Never look down on someone because you never know what will happen in the next minute.
- Greed. We should not be greedy after God has placed us. God has given us what is needed, why then do we want to make people suffer?
- Be contented with what you have. Let what you have to be enough for you. Do not look at what people have, but manage your life and with what you have.

It's Sad News For Me Today
Sad news happened due to something not palatable that may happen to you one way or the other. Sad news can come in form of losing your jobs, losing someone so dear to you which maybe your parents or your siblings or your brothers or sisters. It can also be your best friend or any other person who is closed to you.
When you lose someone so close to you, you will feel grief and pains, most, especially when it is your mother or your father or relatives. So, you will not find it easy to cope with whatever you are doing at that moment, but you will have the thought of seeing this life as nothing.
We are here for a reason and put stay on this Earth is temporary. We are not going to stay in this world until eternity, but just for the appointed time. In life, we all have our appointed time, which is the time we are made to stay on earth before we finally visit our God. Life is now easy but not equally tough except if one is not ready to stay in life.
God is the one who gives and also the one who takes. When something terrible happens, you will feel grief and also weak in all parts. This is what I'm facing right now.
Just this afternoon, my elder brother called me after several attempts to get in touch with me to relate the news, which no one wants to hear. He called and gave me sad news from home. He said **my father just passed away**. I was on my way to prepare some food to eat just because of the hunger in my stomach. I was so much hungry before the news, and now feel like I no longer need any food.
Losing someone so close to you is greatly sad.
This is sad, sad news that can weaken someone's heart. It can put someone in a state of confusion.
Dad... I will miss you greatly and immensely. He left in these hard times. He left at this time that there is not enough money.
Language
There is so much joy in reaching the term communication. Although there are many ways to reach communication through social medias, signs and others but the most effective is through Language. Speaking your language is not something one should be ashamed of. There are cases by which people are not interested in their own native language, then goes out to learner foreign languages because theirs is not recognized. There are many people like that who don't care about learning their language. Learning foreign languages is not bad, but yours has to be first. Take for instance, you're a South African residing in France, another man's land speaking their language French.
It has been going on for over 10 years and one day, you met someone speaking to you, but you noticed a Zulu accent in his speech, you would be happy, you can even go further in speaking Zulu. That's the basis of language, but if you're one who doesn't know your language, shame can come anytime. Maybe you go for an interview, and you're asked of your nationality, you replied.
What if he goes on asking you to speak your language? You won't be able to do that, you have failed your family and your nation. How will you feel?
The signs we do, Braille alphabets, dramas, miming and other form of non-verbal communication, all of them are extremely limited, and they depend on language.
You're brilliant? Yes. How can you partake in cognitive behaviors without language? Language is not only heard from the mouth, the thoughts too has a language. Language is a bridge to communication.
The words in the dictionary were formed by people structuring it to a language. Knowing multiple languages is a significant thing one must do. Experiencing plays, concerts or local events only offered in their language so to accomplish that, you must learn multiple languages. Let’s say that you were alone in that country, and you didn’t speak their language. Unfortunately, you would be getting a thoroughly different experience than someone who did. In effect, you’d be missing out on having a true experience of what that country’s culture is like.
Learning multiple languages can open more doors for you, it can make you soar higher. For instance, if you’re helping your company reach more people and bring in more business as a result of good communication, I can almost guarantee that when the time for a performance review comes, you would have a higher chance of getting a promotion than let’s say, someone's at your job who only speaks one language but does the same job as you.

Learning Does Not Stop
Learning does not stop but keeps on to eternity. It is a continuous process that continues from childhood to adulthood. Learning starts from home and to the outside world. In homes, homes, our parents always teach us how to adapt to many situations and how to relate to things around us. We have learned how to prepare dishes, which is still part of learning. That does not stop there, we also learned how to speak our languages.
Just like a child lens how to crawl, after which the child learns how to stand. After standing, there is every tendency for the child to learn how to walk. Remember that all these are possible just because of the parent's support. Learning, therefore, continues which in turn proceed to the aspects of Learning how to speak which is how to talk.
The child only learns the language that the parents are speaking while still a child, but learns other languages after mingling with his or her mates. The child learns how to speak with his/her friends the languages that the parents cannot even understand. This means learning begins from home and from our parents to the outside world.
The language the child learns and understands is the mother tongue. The mother's language is always the number one because he or she is always staying glued with the mum and communicates better with her.

I want to sight an instant: One of the primary school teachers in my school whose mum is from a different language from the dad. The dad is from Ibo while the mother is from Yoruba. They both speak different languages except for English which is our general language right here in Nigeria. One faithful day, an Ibo man saw her and was speaking Ibo with her but to my surprise, she could not understand how to speak his father's language.
It was like an embarrassment to her. She only knew how to speak her mother's language just because, the land they are living in is the mum's land, and they always speak the mother's language in the house. We should all know that, despite the father been from another language, he will find certain to learn the wife's language, so as the children.
So, learning does not stop, as many people are ready to learn other languages from other countries. This is because they need it to communicate with people from such languages.
Learning does not stop, as we learn every day about different things and around the world. We go to school to learn formal education, as the education we learn at home is informal type. So, to adapt to the general world, we learn formal education to make our lives bright and to know the different happenings in the world at large.
Learning does not stop, as even a child can teach you what he or she knows or has learned, of which you are lacking. This means we learn every day, and what we learned is either educative or non-educative. Children nowadays learn what is good and what is bad. They only need to be told the repercussions of the bad things they have learned. This will make them know the difference between good and bad.
Learning does not stop but continues to the aspect of learning handiwork which will bring forth success to humanities. We learn how to succeed in life and also how to make things happen in life. Life itself is WORTH learning as learning life's experience is the best we should have in life.
Learning does not end but remains until eternity. Even the olds still learn and even learn more to make life prolong for them.

What Do You Serve?
**I have written this same article on noise.cash today and I decided to take it to a greater explanation right here.**
The question is supposed to be who do you serve? But I decided to make it as What do you serve? Just because, who should be for human beings while what is for both animate and inanimate objects.
Today, many believe in different kinds of Gods. They are not concerned if we have a particular God which is true, but a living God. He is the one who created the universe and also the only one who single-handedly created the whole wide world. He made the man take over the whole creatures on earth. Through man, he brought out women. What else do you want to know about our true God?
I saw that there was darkness and pronounced light to show forth, which truly became reality. He is full of wonders and signs. To him, we are one from the same God. This is why we must not abuse each other just because we take after him. It has been written in the holy book that God created us to his image and likeness.
**Now back to business**
What Do You Serve? Yes, this is a great topic as we have many people today who are capable of serving:
**Wood:** They do carve wood to look like human beings, which they serve. Remember that wood is not human, and there is no reason for serving what is not human. This is one of the major reasons why I used **WHAT** in the topic. This is mostly done by the pagans who are not ready to serve God and also do not believe that God exists. They only believed in their wood as their one true God.
**Iron:**5 In some parts of the world, they believed that they have been saved by iron, maybe during the war against their opponents or so. With this, they decided to take the iron as their God. They have a strong and total belief in their God, which they called the God of iron.
There are many other kinds of Gods which may include: God of thunder, God of breeze, God of sun, God of the moon and so on.
Many people always try to use anything around as their God. They will say that the god of the tree saved me today. Which and what kind of God do you think is in the tree? What kind of God can you derive from something that cannot talk and cannot see?
Among all, who do you think created those things you call your God? Who do you think is the originator of all things? As I have said earlier that God gave man authority over all things. He has the power to rule all things. These have been given to man and so, serving the different God is of no use because they cannot talk either can they see. They cannot react to the surroundings and cannot tell what will happen to you or how your movement will look like. This is why our living God who created us all has the power over any other God.
All there things we call God are created by our living God. God is controlling every living soul on the earth.
**Do You Think There Is a Devil Somewhere**?
The answer is **YES and NO**
It is **yes** because the devil is everywhere looking for whom to use as an agent. We have agents of the devil all over who are looking for the saints to destroy.
And NO, when you allow your mind to be carried away with the things of the world. We alone invite the devil into our lives by saying some words which are not worth saving. When you curse your children, in the end, the curse will stay glued to them lust because of the words of the tongue. The tongue is powerful and so much dangerous. This tongue alone is the devil and the medium during which the devil can use to penetrate onto one's life.
It means there is and there is no devil.
Do You Think You Are Matured Enough?
Do you truly think you are matured enough? So, you really think the word maturity is meant for someone like you? If yes, then let's see if you are truly the one maturity is meant for.
Before I ride on, let's know what the work maturity is. In a real sense, there are many definitions I will coin from this word maturity ad after which you will know if you are truly matured or not.
**Maturity can be seen as:**
Not looking down on people, but been true to them: I have seen many people today who are ready to look down on their fellows. They tend to say words that can make them feel inferior, which suppose not to be. If you are truly matured, then do not look down on people because you don't know what tomorrow holds for those you looked down on.
Making sure to change yourself first before changing people around you: You may have the gift to change people, but changing yourself first is Paramount. Just know that charity begins at home. Do the homework on yourself before doing the same to people. People who you want to change must see you are a changed being before they can be able to change alongside. A guy who was selling an ointment for eczema did not remember to look at his face while hawking the ointment. His face was filled with lots of eczema, and people who were supposed to buy his cream did not get to buy just because of what they saw in him. He refused to change himself before changing people. No one will listen.
The act of not discriminating: The fact remains that we should try to accept people the way they are instead of discriminating them. Love people around you and do not for once make it a point to discriminate as your personality will be tarnished.
Reserve your talents for the better days: People know the kind of person you are, but showing people who you are does not make you a matured person. I just finished watching a movie where a guy who serves as a savior always put on a mask in other for people not to know him. He decided to tell his brother to stand in as if he was the one saving people. He never wanted people to know that he was the one, but rather he was. Likewise, he has shown maturity in such act.
Not seeking people's approval before you do things: I still remembered, back then, my friend always wanted me to seek his approvals before I do anything I have in mind to do, and if I didn't, he will grow annoyed with me. I'm always not looking at his face when he starts grumbling, but I will definitely face my own. I might have done it before I let him know because he might discourage me. So, whenever you are doing things, do not seek people's permission or else, you will not succeed in it, that is, there must be someone who must discourage you.
Not reacting to people who talk too much: We call them talkative. They can talk to any length. When you react to their words, you will be seen as one. Just be yourself and talk less because matured people do not talk too much. Some people do brag and make noise for what do not WORTH noise. We just need to keep calm and observe. Remember that talkative does not close their mouth and will make sure that your issue is being taken out. Or it might come out of their words unknowingly. This is why matured people must learn how to talk less.
Must not reciprocate: Never must you pay back evil for evil. Just let go of anyone who has done you wrong. Let go of them because they are immature people. Someone said, I will pay you back what you have done to me and truly, he paid him back in folds and even went to the extent off telling him that, I have paid you back and next time you won't try it again. This is a sign of immaturity.
The best is to walk away: Walk away instead of facing embarrassment. The one who wants troubles will keep on talking, but the wise will just leave the scene. Walking away does not make you a lazy being, but add a lot to your personality. Abscond from a fight, as it can paint your image bad.
Now, tell me, which of these have you fall a victim of?
Being mature is not by age, but by the way you behave. An old man may look immature when compared to someone of age 20. So, the way you react to people around you and the way you behave to them will prove out your element of maturity in you.
My Dream Before Now
I have been living my life, hoping for tomorrow to be better. This is what keeps us moving and moving ahead. Hope is one thing that keeps us moving. There is no one without having the mind of hoping for something or having something hoping for.
Before now, we all had our respective dreams to become better and great people in life, but one way or the other could not attain such a goal. When I was still a child, I always have the feelings and the thoughts of becoming an engineer, an electrical engineer for that matter. I have always lived to hope for becoming what I had in mind, not knowing how to attain that dream.
I had a friend back then who was studying electrical electronics engineering at the university, and he gave me hope and made. I have full assurance of becoming an electrical engineer. The way he talked and behaved, most especially while reading. He was never, for once, left his books. There was this engineering mathematics textbook he always carried along, which happened to be as huge as possible. I always got afraid, but he will be the one encouraging me to ensure my dreams come to reality.
In my secondary school, there was nothing like further mathematics, as I did not know if such a subject ever existed. I just knew of mathematics but not further mathematics, as I was better, I'm solving mathematical problems right from my secondary school. I only picked up when I got to senior class two, just because of someone I later made as a friend. He was a genius in mathematics and I never wanted to let him go except I made friends with him, which I did.
Now, when I left secondary school, my friend who was in the university have me his further mathematics project one which I did go through and studied hard to solve almost all the questions in it, except the ones I could not solve. He came over to help me out in solving those I could not solve. He was truly trying to put me in the line of engineering, but nature could not help me out.
Furthermore, he later gave me another project which was project two(2). I also made sure to study and solved the questions in it and once I could not solve them, he equally helped me out. It was so fun and great solving mathematical problems as I was not going anywhere other than to get myself engaged with the projects further mathematics he did give to me. He later brought to the last project, which I found interesting as well. This part I so great and nice. I later got to understand further mathematics to the brim but was still having a little problem in solving some areas.
The truth is that I tried hard to proceed to the university after several attempts in writing joint admission and matriculation exams, but was not granted admission. I made several attempts, but later gave up, been hoping to go to the university to study engineering courses. My mind later went to the polytechnic, which I later went to. Although, I did study what I truly had in mind to study, which was electrical electronics engineering.

After one year of staying at home just because of the absence of jobs or availability of jobs, I decided to always wire people's houses anytime I was called to. I gained little money from that outside work.
I never wanted to stay in one place without acquiring a job I can survive with. So, my friend later called me to come to stay with him and his sister. I did stay and found a teaching job. O was paid a stipend but was still satisfied with the payment. I started with nursery and primary school, but now I'm teaching the senior classes just because of the talent I have in teaching. This made me change my line of a dream to a line I never dreamt of, I'm my life.
I still remembered back then, if asked, I will tell them I cannot become a teacher, but an engineer. Many of you had this same thought, but nature can always find its way out. What we planned may not be what we can become, or maybe what we become as we truly have the opportunity. Not having the opportunity to actualize your dreams may be a factor in changing from that dream to a dream you never thought of.
You can see now that my dreams then, has been changed to the one I never thought of. This is life, and we must always live to go along with life as we will succeed if we truly believe ourselves, but will not if we allow life to treat us the way we want it.
We may dream, but life holds more for us, only if we dance to the tune of it. Presently, I'm a true teacher and I can bet you, I teach with passion. Maybe, this was supposed to be my call which I never knew of, not until this moment.
So, make sure to dream and make it comes true but putting up hard work alongside it. Do ask God to show you your directions because most of us do not have bearings and do not have a particular area to stick to.
God shall be our helper...
Fruits Of My Labor
One day, I woke as a result of the unrest of my country Ghana, all the terrorism happening, all the wars. I felt unsafe as I just gave birth about 3 months ago and keeping my son Michael safe was the only thing I could think of at that moment. My husband, George, as well, he was also on my mind. I was worried about him because he was a soldier. He was on duty during my labour, he hasn't held his son for once because of the country's palaver. Well, I had to be strong for my son I won't allow him to take after his father.
The country situation is so worrying and the government keeps assuring us. When the country is not safe, you have to keep on eye open because you don't know what's going to happen next. We moved to our house in Accra because of this issue, and obviously, it was the safest place in the country, of course, that's where the Presidential Villa is. It was my husband's idea as the house was one of a kind. On a Friday, 11:23 p.m, George communicated to me through a walking talking, he wanted to inform me about their mission tonight and of course I would be worried, but he was teasing me a lot so that I would feel relaxed.
He told me a revolution is about to happen and if they fail, that was the end of the government. There was a bunker in the house, he asked me to go there with Michael, and I did. He signalled me that they were trooping out. As usual, my husband has gone for 6 battles, and he has always come back home, I felt this one will be another one.
He has always called me through the device if they had won the battle, so he went for the mysterious operation. After about 3 days, George called, and I was so excited, I didn't allow him to talk, rather I was asking him 'if he was on his way? I want to prepare your favourite. George was sobbing, he said all his troop members are down to ashes, and he is seriously wounded and would be joining his comrades soon. I was in disbelief as the only man I have is about to die, I started begging him to please survive for me and Michael. He said he wished he could, moreover, he tended an apology to Michael for not being a good father.
Before I knew it, I heard a terrific noise, the radio transmission was cut off, I couldn't hear my husband's voice anymore, he is dead. I didn't know how to feel at that moment, I couldn't cry, my heart ached. How would I raise Michael on my own? I said to myself. So many thoughts came to my mind. I was going through my phone looking at George's pictures, the lights then went off all over Accra. The revolutionists are in the capital, I was praying to God to see me through. Accra was in trouble, I heard bomb explosions, to be honest, I was scared, I didn't know what to do. I had to just stay in the bunker, as no one was safe outside. Before I knew it I saw myself unconscious, it was Michael's cry that woke me up, they had blown Accra to pieces. The bunker had saved us, I had to pick up my phone to call life rescue, and they came immediately to bring us out.
I collected some documents I would need after on, then, we were taken to a refugee camp. It's really hard for me to cope with what's happening in the country, but I have to be strong for Michael, he is the reason I have to live. After a few weeks, I wanted to get out of the country to go somewhere safe for me and my kid because safety is never guaranteed. To heal from my husband's death also, a change of environment was inevitable. Of course, I'm not going to another African country as insecurity is a major. I had to seek asylum in Canada, and it was granted.
I felt a bit relieved, I and my baby is to set out a new life in Canada, a peaceful country. We got on board, set for abroad, the plane took off, and you know, aeroplanes are quite scary if it's your first time. It's a normal feeling, after a while, the atmosphere because cloudy, and I was liking going to die, there was turbulence, and I was scared thinking we're going to crash as I do see in fine. Another nightmare is coming true. These were the thing not to pass through. Hours later, we were welcomed by the people who granted me asylum.
After a few days of resting, I decided to get work to make sure Michael lives a comfortable life in Canada. Out of the few documents I collected from the bunker, my CV was there. I was a professional nurse. Sorry I would have said that before, but you know, in this type of situation, you forget some things. Moreover, I was given a job to work as a nurse. The job distracted me from my problems. It's been years since we have lived in Canada, Michael was already 8, he then asked me about his father. A heartbreaking question, I told him he was late and died in a war back there in Africa.
Michael was growing fine, but he never knew the colour was a problem until he started schooling. Those kids often bully him, and of course, he wouldn't do anything. Michael although hid it from me and behaved as if nothing happened. Probably he never wanted me to worry about anything. Michael would often go on a very long jogging every Saturday morning, I used to tease him all the time. During school days, Mike would be jogging to school, very suspicious. Mike doesn't follow the school bus nor uses a scooter to go to school.
I would ask him why? He would say nothing, unknowing to he had something under his sleeves. He didn't tell me about his plan. Sooner, he started going to the gym, surprising. Michael did all this, I took it as normal stuff. Years passed, Michael was already a teenager, he came home on a Wednesday and told me that he wants to become a mixed fighter. I said that wasn't possible, he said it is. I wanted him to become among the elites. Furthermore, I cried for a long and told him not to. Since he was adamant, I decided to support him. There was a coach who trains people. Michael met him and said he should train him to become a world champion. He wanted to be a champion in the UFC, the coach said he was crazy as he doesn't know what he was even saying. People looked down on him, the coach didn't look down on him, he wasn't just confident in Michael.
Michael would train the hell out of himself. Michael was then fixed in night matches where he would win. He then had a chance to enter the UFC. He made his debut and the match was a total win for Michael, he fought six to seven matches, he won all of them in a row. Very impressive. He was then fixed in the biggest match of his career. He was to fight a title match. In round 1, Michael was beaten as a big right hand hit him on the face, Michael knew he had to finish the difficult second round. Michael is an excellent fighter and also too fast for his opponents. His opponent tried to hit him using an elbow, but Michael performed his magic, dodged it and hit him with a right leg to the head. That was a total KO, Mike's opponent couldn't recover from the move. Mike won,
He was the youngest UFC fighter to hold a title and the first Ghanian to fight in the UFC.
Mike's mom had supported her child and she invested everything she had in him, and it paid off.

Who Do You Call Your Friend?
There is a saying that says, show me your friend and I will tell you who you are.
Friends are the ones who can raise one another in times of trouble or distress: There are many but few friends out there who are ready to raise their friends to better people in life. One of my students who came to visit us happens to tell us the way he helped one of his friends who were his mate why they were still in school back then. He went to school to study engineering, but in the end, he found himself in the military field.
He decided to go to Navy School. Now he is a Navy officer and a senior officer for that matter. He deviated from the parts which he was into a part that will bring him success. Now he is into fetching business making a lot of money, and he decided to quit the navel. He met his schoolmate who was seriously in need of one to help him. Immediately and undoubtedly, he helped his mate, which happened to be his friend. Now they are both doing very well and very better.
This life is all about friends helping each other and making each other grow. Many today are ready to help their close friends, and many as well are ready to push away their friends. Someone said it is very much right for a friend to enjoy his friends when he is still alive, but once something happens to him, it becomes the family that will enjoy him or her. So, friends are to scratch each other's back, but not to inflict things on each other.

In another way, friends can also put one in a state of confusion: Many friends do not want their fellow to progress but can find certainly to make sure that they remain in the same States they are. They can always find ways to counter a good idea that their friends are having. This reminded me of the one I called my best friend and my childhood friend. We both went to the same secondary school, and we were living in the same house as sometimes I can sleep in his place why he can also sleep in my place. We were very, very close.
When I was true with my polytechnic, he asked if I can come to the place he was living, and I did not object just because there was no work. I lived with him and his sister with the husband in the same house. I began to teach, after which I put in for further studies. Likewise, I went to the universities to study mathematics education just because of the educational line I have placed myself in. To him, he went to a higher University to obtain his degree, after which he was back for business. He embarked on serious business and was doing very fine. He began to progress gradually, he got to his peak.
The funniest aspect of it was that after he became rich, he neglected me. He began to move with those who are also rich and have cats just like him. So, I'll be going to struggle to ensure that I live my life to my standard. I never, for once, ask for anything from him except one day when I ask you opened up to me that he can name again someone close to him this money. That is, he can never borrow his money from somebody close to him. After that day, I refused from asking for any money from him. He is a free giver to that outside, but to me, I now serve as his enemy who he does not want to progress.
Any idea I bring out that can make me progress, he always rejected it and counter it. He will never give me the idea that can make me progress, but he always ensures that he mocked me because he wants to avoid seeing me progressing. He detests seeing me progressing. So, I deduced a method that I will never tell him my plans, and we always forge ahead instead of depending on him. There was a time he promised to help me, but up till today the help is still in the air without coming forth.
I can say in conclusion that we are friends but living like enemies even though we are still friends. There is no day he will not call me to tell me of the new car he wants to buy. Anything he wants to buy, I will be the first he will call before buying such a thing. He always does that to laugh at me, but I'm someone who does not care, instead will rejoice with you when you are progressing.
Friends should see each other as one and must try certainly to help one another instead of separating.
Uncomfortable Love Which Becomes Reality
I was in my wives shop while commenting on @Princessbusayo post, thought of this great, but awesome topic, **Uncomfortable Love which becomes reality** just flashed my mind.
Here it goes...
Deborah and Mark have been in the same class in secondary school. They were not talking to each other initially and if I can say it, they were serious enemies. As time goes, Deborah always detested Mark for anything he does have her rest of mind. This also goes to Mark as he did not for once like Deborah.
There were both living in their parent's house and we're in the same school and the same class.
One day, their mathematics teacher asked the class question on how to solve a particular question, the first to answer was Deborah whole Mark on the other hand began to grumble on while should Deborah stand up to answer the question. It was so intended that the teacher heard Mark's grumbling. He hard to call Mark out to explain why he was grumbling, but to his surprise, he could not say a word. So, he was dealt with for having a nonchalant attitude in the class. Deborah on the other hand began to laugh as she knew that Mark was grumbling just because of her.
Mark on a faithful day, came across Deborah and walked past Deborah. He told Deborah if she cannot greet, and she replied that how will she greet him? On what ground should Shee greet him? The argument set in where Mark decided to slap Deborah so had that she began to cry. The slap was with gravity.
The case was got to the principal's desk who then summoned the two of them to question. He asked them what the problem was. After judging, it was found that Mark was wrong and he was told to apologise to Deborah as the principal was a gentleman who does not want trouble. He just wanted to settle the two of them instead of giving them hard work to do.
So, they were just like cats and rats together in the class. People have tagged their names as not a perfect match. As time goes on, they again got into a face-off with each other and this time they were given a portion to clear, and in the long run, Mark mistakenly used his matchet to cut Deborah. This got her flamed up and she began to say all sorts of words to Mark. Whereas, the mark did not alter a word but was just saying he was sorry. He seriously apologized to her and in short, Mark helped her to clear the portion as they became friends and closed Paley.

Everyone including their friends was surprised to see the cat and rat becoming good friends. They were solidly closed and now, more closer to the extent of Mark going to Deborah's house to pay visit always. Deborah also does pay him a visit in return. The music was becoming so interesting as they were now closer and lovers.
Mark confessed to Deborah that he has been in love for all this while but was just trying to come as a hard rock. So, they grew stronger but had a little problem. The problem was their love which was not accepted by Deborah's parents. Although, they have gone to the higher institution and later continued with the love. It grew stronger and stronger, but still have the same problem as they searched for all means to make Deborah's parents get convinced. At the end of it all, their love was not comfortable.
They were just like hiding. Anytime Mark wants to see Deborah, he always comes in hidden form. He was not sure if their love as Deborah's parents were just like a rock between them. He truly loves her so much and he was not ready to leave her, likewise Deborah. They lived for years without the approval from Deborah's parents which they later had concluded to carry out secret marriage as they were grown enough to dictate for themselves.
Mark's parents, on the other hand, were like oppose as they always welcome Deborah anytime and any day. They were ready to make Deborah marry their son, Mark. They wanted to carry out their plans but the unexpected happened as Deborah's parents gave their daughter was called to come home. Initially, Deborah was still proving adamant, after hearing the issue of urgency, she decided to rush home. She did not go alone but went with Mark.
Mark was initially afraid as he never knew what was happening as Deborah's parents had made love uncomfortable and unbearable. To his surprise, they gave their consent to their marriage. What a happy ending love!!! They got married and bear children.
Parents should always allow their children to get married to their hearts. They should get married to whoever they have in mind or love them and loved them in return. This is how it is supposed to be instead of rejecting them at their best moment or loving each other.
A House Or A Home?
Which one is preferable to you? This is a question I kept on asking myself frequently. Many today cannot differentiate between a home and a house. These two seems alike or the same, but I can bet you now, you will have every reason to differentiate between a House and a Home.
I just heard this statement from my Daddy G. O., Redeemed Christian Church Of God. He was the first to give a clear disparate between these two words, Home And House. He made me have the full detailed meaning of a Home And a House. Remember that God gives you where you are today and is still going to elevate you to the fullest.
I know you are tired of waiting to hear the difference between a House and a Home. Presently, I'm living in a rented apartment and indeed I'm loving fine without having any problems or issues. My wife and children (3 kids) are extremely joyed living in this rented apartment to the fullest, but still, we are not in our home. The reason is not far fetched.
The landlord can come for his house rent. This is something that the landlord cannot miss out on because he has laboured to build his house. So, in this regard, my mind will not be at peace or rest when it's time to pay my rent. The good thing about me is that I don't usually wait until it's time to pay, I always pay upfront. Before I find the money, I will make sure to strive hard to give myself freedom from the rent. I pay three months before the rent elapse.
Comfortability: When you are in your apartment, you will feel at ease and rest of mind. You will eat like ever before and even come back home anytime you like. You will have comfort and peace staying in your home.
Oh...HOME SWEET HOME...!!! There is nothing better than home.
Now, back to business: A house with my little explanation, is a house which does not belong to you but you are staying in it. The house you rent is called a house because you are not going to your home but your house. In another way, when you are in another man's surroundings, you are not in your home except when you are in your home town. Your home is your home but your house is not your house but someone's else's.
**A home** is a place where you feel comfortable and relaxed. It is a place where you have full ownership and benefits. When you build your own house, means you have your home. Been at home is different from being in the house. There is nothing more beautiful than HOME. Home is sweet and wonderful and also dull of the sweetness of family happiness.
When a footballer is playing, they will play home and away. When they are at home, they will play with full confidence with more benefits. Out of their home, they always play without confidence. That are why sometimes, they are always winning while at home, most of the time.
Are you in your home or your house? You will have you're down-home and become a landlord soon. I pray for you that your time is not far fetched from achieving success. You shall make more money to build your house which will call your home.
How Would The World Be Without Mobile Phones
Mobile phones vary which depends on the type and makers. There are many phones today which do not.habe the ability to browse while some have the ability to browse the internet but cannot share data with any other phones. We have phones of different makers ranging.from the best to the least company. In this modern days, many makers of phones are emerging and truly are doing very great in their style of making phones. Some have the best battery capacities while some have low phone batteries which many people detest and.im the number one person who detest such phones with low battery.
Phones have made us wise and have made some things possible. During the old era, there were nothing like phones neither was there anything like modernized system. This modern and computer life just begun and is turning a new face of life.

You should know that we are here for two things. To gained knowledge and also to make money. There are many other platform which strengthen one's mind on making money to the fullest.
Learning is possible: We learn with the use of phones. We learn and also people learned from what we have written.
Taking photos: We use this phone to take photos of any kind of event. Do you know that all the photos taken are for reference purpose? Yes ,.. they are for memory keeping. One may have camera to take photos and the other one may have phone to take his own photos, all are same.
Means of knowing that internet: Many people today would have been in the dark if not for phones which we now use to surf the internet. We use it to know the recent happenings. We may not have access to newspapers and so, making use of our phones to get any news is now made possible through the internet.
Sending messages: Yes ... We use phone to send messages to people and to friends. We can also use it to play music and send files from one phone to another.
There are some things which can cause set back from browsing the internet. One of which is :
Data: Not everyone can have the means of buying data to surf the internet and so, money to get it recharged is a big problem to us all.
Nearness to network: One thing is to have phone and another thing is to get closed to where you can have network. When there is no network, your phone is useless.
There may be other set back and also uses of mobile phones, I have taken pains to bring those little idea out.

Will You Run Or Stay?
The citizens of my country has taken suffering as a routine as they tend to fend for themselves as the government has failed to improve the lives of everyone. Moreover, they failed to protest against bad governance because of ignorance. The rich are often self-centered as they don't want to interact with the poor.
My name is Nathan. I'm a young boy with a bag of dreams to accomplish. I was brought up by a peasant farmer who happens to be my father. Although we were poor, but I never seem to lack etiquette anywhere I go. Should I say my morals were in-born as I was known to live a virtuous life? I was more concerned about my country's issue, that's because I love politics. I love so politics so much that I would often sneak out of the house to watch the nation programs downtown. Furthermore, I had a dream to become the nation's youngest president, and we would have a lot of cars and money, but my dad would often tell me that once a peasant, always a peasant.
I wouldn't feel discouraged because I know that my dad is going through a hard time that's because my mom dad a few years ago. I felt like I should just change the lives of everyone in the country especially the poor as they are being deprived of their rights. Likewise, I felt ruling a nation is just like walking down the hill, very easy. Not only that, but I'm a bookworm because I really like my ambition. It's in my head and I love it.
I knew that to become one wasn't easy, so I had to study very hard and for sure apply for scholarship because my dad couldn't afford the fees. Upon that I still didn't feel bad because I know where I'm going to.
After a few years of hard work I became a politician at age 21 making me the youngest politician in the country, with the little money I earn every month, I often visit places, carrying out a free will project for them just to make life better. I did this for about 5 years and became the most influential person of the year and the following year I became the most influential person on the continent according to Forbes. I became popular and a lot of people had so much love for me. So I had a lot of supporters for the upcoming elections.
So I contested, carried out campaigns, rallies and read out my manifesto I prepared 12 years ago. It was 3 weeks to the election and my dad was getting old and was severely sick, and he needed surgery. The election was done, and we were waiting for the results. Coincidentally, his surgery was on the day the results were to be announced. I was scared as I didn't want to lose my dad, and I was also worried about the election results as I pray not to lose on both sides or lose on one side.
Then his surgery was performed before the election was announced. It didn't go well as I hoped for. My dad couldn't make it. I cried so much as I couldn't bear a day without my dad, he brought me up to this stage. Later that evening, the results were announced, and I emerged as the winner. It was a day I was meant to be happy, but I became a president and has cars, but I didn't have my dad. It was a bad time to get sworn in into office as it was had for me to cope with emotional, psychological problems and also with the nation's problem. Likewise, it took me a long time to recover. Finally, I became stable but not completely stable. My first, second and third year at the office went well until my fourth year, that was when trouble came.

My country was in crisis as a coup was planned. They offered me a chance to join them to enslave the nation I worked hard to build, or I will get killed. The country was in torture as children were dying, mothers were crying for their children and children were also seen crying because their mother were dead. I felt that pain too as I lost my mother at a tender age. I was left with a lot of options, join a tyrant group of people or get killed or resign or stay with my country till the end. Likewise, I was lost in thought as I couldn't let my nation bleed.

Back to business;
This is a story that happened to a growing boy.
Mr Tele happens to be a renounced personality in his Community. He was seen as a significant figure in the community and the Communities nearby. He has a wife and a twin, which happened to be boys. Out of the twin, one is just too nice, just like the father. This means he took after his father, while the second one is the opposite. He is just too wicked and dislikes people around him except bad gangs.
His parents always advise him to change from his character to a better one, but he always pays a deaf ear. He loves doing what is in his mind, undermining the consequence attached. The two brothers are just too much alike, of which no one except their parents can identify them. Anytime they are going out together, people around do cherish their kind twin.
They both love each other to the fullest. On their way to school, a guy passing by mistakenly splash water on his brother's uniform. This caused a serious fight between him and the guy. He almost beat the guy up, but people around separated the fight. So, they went their separate ways. During the fight, people who knew them so well has started labelling their father names by giving birth to a wicked son.
Now, the one with a wicked heart who has the mind of following bad gangs went ahead to meet his gang. He was only rude and wicked, but one thing is for sure, has not gotten himself involved in the theft. He only made friends with them just because of his friend who is part of the gang. People always see the wicked boy with the gang and so was known as part of them.

One faithful day, the gang went for robbery. They went to a rich man's house to Rob, and unfortunately, they could not succeed but rather got caught by policemen who then chased them. As they were running, the one who has been known as the wicked twin was on his way to meet the gang. He saw them running and so, he joined the lead. He began to run as well. They were not caught but unfortunately, one of them got caught and while running, many people saw them running including the twin.
The whole people who are closed to him now see him as a thief. So, he was labelled a thief which he did not have hands in. He was innocent but no one would believe him as he was so wicked to them all and also was seen running with the other bad gangs while the policemen were chasing them. He tried to explain, but was not given chance to say his mind. People started calling him a thief. This was how he was labelled what he knew nothing about
In life, we all need to be careful of whom we move with so that we will not be labelled as those we are moving with. Many people are in the prison today just because of what they knew nothing about and have been labelled criminals.
Sometimes, knowing somebody in detail is important, but not with his appearance. People may appear to be something else whereas, they are not what you took them to be.
In another way, we must not move with those who are having bad names but move with those who have not been labelled bad people. This is what got him into the labelled name, Criminal.
It's A Busy Period
I have been so busy lately in my working place been the chairman of the planning committee. It's not easy been one but I just maintained it and tried my best to remain hard-working been the chairman. It's not easy been the head of a committee or the head of any department. Many people may see it as nothing or a place where one is enjoying but if you have not been there,.you will.mot k ow if it is stressful or enjoying.
I have been so busy with the organization of our Valedictory Service/ End of session program for the past two months now. It came with the yearbook preparations where all the students had to take their potraits.
They took their photos on casual and on uniforms. They also took group photos. It took me time to gather them together for the photographs ranging from the senior classes to the junior classes. It was so Stressful and without any form of rewards.
These students below are the graduating students which I took their photographs of when they were seated on a staircase. They were so happy that every day, which hot me carried away.
Now back to business:... Apart from the yearbook staff, I also called my committee to discuss the way forward towards the forthcoming Valedictory Service, to which I got a tangle response. We planned the program and decided to take the list to our boss, who then promised to make all funds available.
The yearbook issue came up and was finally gone, but other aspects came up which got all our plans wanting to die low but later revived. When it was closed to the day of the exams, we started planning again, which got us late Preparations. I just thank God that we were able to need up speedily.
Funds were released and we went for the cow. On our way back we encountered some problems which made us to arrived late.
The truck we took to get the cow, developed some faults which were not rectified, but instead, the truck was towed back to the school.
Some teachers on the other hand have been on the ground for the preparation of the food. They have divided themselves according to the work on the ground. So, the cow was slaughtered, where the women later packed the meat into a lot and got it cooked.
Almost all the teachers slept in the school just because of the Preparations. This is what we have been doing. It has been our culture that teachers will sleep in the school to support the women who are doing the cooking.
Just on Tuesday, the stress was finally lifted. The program was done on Tuesday where all the students including the graduating and non graduating students were converged in the hall including their parents and some other invited guests.
Before then, my boss, the principal and I (@pearlkel) got the hall arranged. We made the hall so unique and special.

It's talents but they have practice this before. They carried out the real display of culture.
Science exhibition:
Here, the students used chemicals to produce elephant toothpaste. It was spectacular seeing our students in such performances. They truly tried to have come up with this kind of idea.
Drama: In the drama, it was just like someone gave birth to a certificate which was given the the outgoing students. It was so interesting.
Fashion parades: This particular one was used to make money for the school. The students grouped themselves into those representing different states. In them, we had a total of 16 states. The one with the highest money won.
At the end of it all, we had two men standing, but we need to get the best, which we did got. It was a tug of war for parents who came from those states. At the end, we got the winner who happened to come from the same state.
She is the winner. She is the newest miss ELBOSSAA. ELBOSSAA college is the name of the school I teach. So, she is now called MISS ELBOSSAA.
Other activities were carried out, but these are the ones I was able to capture since I was moving from one point to the other to see the success of the program.
