How can you differ plagiarism from copied content? I made a mistake before to understand the meaning of plagiarism and copied or duplicate content. I used to think that both were same. I came to know the difference between these two words when I reported to hivewatcher about an user who just copied someone's work and posted on hive platform without giving credit to original content writer. The system told me that it is not a case of duplicate content. It is plagiarism. When someone steals your ideas or content and shows as his own work is known as plagiarism. And copied or duplicate content means the same article can be found on different pages on a website or published on different websites with a source to original work. Even though you have added a source link to original article, google doesn't like this type of work very much. #General
