Ultimate Decision

Topic: The Ultimate Directions Text: Zach 1: 6a Have you ever been on a trip to a brand new destination? Only to discover after several hours and failed efforts trying to locate the destination that the directions you were given on how to get there was wrong. Of course, all the initial joy and excitement will be gone and instead you will be tired, frustrated and definitely unwilling to continue the journey. Brethren, there are many in this world who says that all roads lead to heaven and who also believe that truth is relative. In other words no religion can claim solely to be the means or the channel by which we can get heaven. These people have a problem with the words of Jesus in John 14: 6, where Jesus says, _*“I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”*_   Some of them interpret this statement as arrogance and lack of tolerance on the part of Christians for other religion. You tell them that it is the truth from God’s word and they reply by telling you that truth is relative. That is, truth is whatever you believe it to be. They will tell you that what is truth to you, is not necessarily truth to them and so on. While this may sound good to people, ultimately it leads to frustration, bondage and separation from God. The good news however is that it doesn’t have to be this way. God has revealed to us His Truth, provided we are ready to receive it. His Truth is not dictated by man nor is it blown around by every fad or current event. His Truth is the rock, and we can place our lives on it and find peace for our souls. Our Lord Jesus Christ is the embodiment of God’s truth. He is the one we need to know and receive into our lives. When we do so, the Truth of God lives in us and our life’s journey becomes glorious and highly successful.   It tells the story of love, grace and forgiveness. It is also the ultimate guide book, which is in a world of its own and in no way comparable to any other directions that may be available to you. Engage it daily and you will receive all the directions you need for your life this year and beyond. Shalom. 🛐 *Prayer Points* 🎯Father You are God over the present and the future. Amen. 🎯Father, give me a heart for Your Word. 🎯Father, please guide my life so that it becomes a perfect reflection of You in Jesus name. 🎯Father, the bible is the revelation of Your truth to man, please help me to engage it daily so that I will receive all the directions i need for my life this year and beyond in Jesus name.
