In USA, our public broadcasting station airs high quality British TV shows. I started watching "The Indian Doctor" because I recognized the 2 lead Indian actors: Sanjeev Bhaskar and Ayesha Dharker. I like both of them so I knew I would not be disappointed. It is set in the 1960s.. A young couple, an Indian doctor and his wife, start their new life in a Welsh coal mining town. It's a comedy-drama but based on a true story. This TV Series first aired from 2010–2013 (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1731601/). There are 3 seasons but I have only watched Season 1. (I have to wait for them to air the program o my local channel.) If you have not seen this #TVseries, I recommend you add it to your #watchlist.
