MOVIES: God-se (2022) This movie is on Netflix. It's an Indian-Teluga film and I picked it because I read that it was popular in like about 40 or 50 different countries. I totally understand why the movie is popular in so many countries. It's because all around the world, it seems like, no matter what type of government your country has, there are always corrupt politicians who screw up everything! It's a common thread. No matter what country you live in, the corruption is so bad, citizens WISH there was somebody or some people who would take the necessary drastic measures to: ~ First. get the officials to confess their crimes TO EVERYONE; ~ Second, make sure they get PUNISHED; and ~ Third, fix all the problems they created so the citizens can live a happy life. God-se was the hero who came to save the day! He was a successful and wealthy businessman who returned to India with good intentions. His goal was to set up businesses, create employment opportunities, improve quality of life ... etc., etc. The Indian politicians approached and asked for his help assured him he would be able to do these things. As time went by, he realized he had been used by the politicians to get money and they only goal was to line their pockets with the money! When he refused to go along with their dirty money laundering schemes, they tried to kill him and circulated a story that he stolen the money. I said they "tried" to kill him. He survived the attempt on his life and came back with a vengeance! This movie is globally popular because everybody loves it when the corrupt leaders get what's coming to them!
