Well! I'm not a chef and it just so happens that there are some professional chefs who say that there are certain ready-made spice blends that are excellent! Chefs and cooks should use them; especially, if you want to try new dishes and different types of cuisines from around the world. The Huff Post article lists several spice blends. I have tried some of these spice blends and I AGREE. For some I have tried the blend, but not the particular brand that was recommended. Nevertheless, I can tell you that these ready-made spice blendsmy definitely take your dish up a notch! 1. Advieh Persian Spice Blend (cinnamon, cardamom, cumin, nutmeg, coriander and rose petals) 2. Chinese Five-Spice Blend (cinnamon, fennel seed, star anise, cloves and peppercorns) 3. Creole Seasoning (onion, celery and bell pepper, and garlic) 4. Everything Bagel Seasoning (coarse black pepper, pretzel salt, poppy seeds, sesame seeds, caraway seeds, onion flakes, and garlic flakes) 5. Garam Masala (peppercorns, cumin, cardamom pods, mace, cinnamon, etc.) 6. Garlic Pepper And Lemon Pepper (It is what it is.) 7. Herbes De Provence (dried herbs from the Provence region of France, with a little bit of lavender) 8. Italian Seasoning (basil, oregano, thyme, and rosemary) 9.
