What is it called a red herring ? Or a 'look this way' framing against cryptocurrencies in general. They are not inefficient. Every day we get more advances with better and more powerful protocols capable of ever more useful things -- no one can say how efficient it can get because its so young. No one can also make these claims and still have facts to back it up that there's environmental damage. The most damage that's been happening is at the hands of the very industry behind these framed articles (major bank institutions investing in oil rigs and far worse industries imaginable)!
