I enjoy watching cooking shows on television. Award-wiining Italian chef Lidia Bastianich introduced me to the word “gnocchi”. It's Italian for “dumpling”. My mother used to make chicken-n-dumplings. I loved that dish but never made it myself. I now know that there are lots and lots of recipes you can make with dumplings.
