An icon of American filmography and one of the most beautiful and representative films of Silvester Stallone, Rambo is one of those films that I would continue to see in loop and has a much deeper meaning than a simple action film. The war in Vietnam destroyed thousands of human lives and those who returned from the war brought with them the horrors they experienced.

John Rambo is a veteran of the Vietnam war, together with a group of comrades who died during the war, with the exception of Berry, for whom he decides to visit him months after their return to the USA. John discovers, however, that Berry died shortly after his return due to the gases used during the war and so the former green beret, medal of honor, heads to the city of Hope where he is stopped here and arrested for resistance by the sheriff. Teasle, brusque city inspector.

Rambo, still pursued by the memories of Vietnam, I am rebellious to police officers and after a short chase reaches the heart of the mountain, but always hunted by police officers. But John manages to knock out the agents, adept at hiding in the forest. The sheriff thus warns the National Guard and immediately starts a manhunt, dozens of policemen against a single man.

Despite everything, Rambo manages to take refuge in a mine, in radio contact with Colonel Samuel Trautman, former commander of John's team in Vietnam, who, however, does not convince the military to surrender but seeks refuge in an old mine, leaving the illusion of his death after an assault with a rocket launcher at the entrance to the mine.

The green beret manages to hijack a military truck and so he heads into town to take revenge on Teasle and when he is one step away from killing him, the colonel manages to desist him, taking him away with him.

1982 film, confirmed Silvester Stallone as one of the protagonists of American action cinema. Dramatic and violent film, not recommended for children. The soundtrack is among the most popular ever and it gives me the chills every time I listen to it.

The film was hugely successful and other sequels were produced, although none are at the level of Rambo I.

## ITA
