It's two weeks to Christmas. I had planned to Celebrate it all with my friends. The year had taken a big toll on me and this kinda placed a strain on our relationships. I had spent my free time, looking out for fun things we could do during the holidays. But a call distraught all plans. Sometimes when we tend to make plans to secure a place for our relationships with other people, we unintentionally put our families behind. Not only did my schedule affect my friends, my relationship with my family suffered the most. That was why, when my mother called, requesting I spend the Christmas with her instead, I made no hesitation in canceling my friends. A though decision it was but it was what had to be done. Mom only wanted her family together for the holidays. While my my friends lived in the same city with me, my family members worked in different cities. It was a lot more easier to bring my friends together than it was for my family. One group had to wait and it definitely was not going to be my family.
