I got the chance yesterday to visit an exhibit in the nearest mini museum in town. The Department of Tourism in my place displayed arts , paintings and different festival costumes. The entrance to this small building is very affordable at 10pesos. Love those dollies in Filipiñana costume and the baby Jesus images . Just got home from town proper. Actually I went to the market to buy something for lunch. And I dropped by here in town plaza and sit for awhile eat some donuts and have some milktea. From three days ago ,these dollies in the museum were dressed in Maria Clara costumes and the Filipino version of Maria Clara,-the Baro't Saya ( the Philippine national costume for Filipinas). Well, the Maria Clara is the aristocratic dress worn by Filipinas during Spanish time in the Philippines. Same as Baro't Saya but the later is simplier and lighter in designs. Drop by at the famous Ilonggo snack house here in Kalibo. I'm going to my friend's house because I will sleep over there. But, I'm hungry so I can't wait . I ordered my favorite snacks.. special bihon guisado, cucumber lemonade, and chewy calamansi bar for dessert. I have a small tummy but I finished it and I'm full.. I paid 131 pesos for this and stay for a minute then ride a trike going to my friend's apartment. Good evening! ❤️ Chikky
