Love isn’t only a matter of fussing over each other, hugging, wanting to be together. Some things communicate, inevitably, precisely because you keep them in check. Love was like the waves in the sea, gentle and good sometimes, rough and terrible at others, but it was endless and stronger than the sky and earth and everything in between.
