Baguio City: La Presa
In the teleserye Forevermore, SITIO LA PRESA is the name of the fictional strawberry farm where Agnes (Liza Soberano) lives and where her love story with Xander (Enrique Gil) takes place.
The genuine Sitio Pungayan in Mt. Kabuyao, Tuba, Benguet has taken on the mythical name "La Presa" and has become a favorite tourist destination for Baguio visitors. It has drawn tourists from the surrounding area who wish to reenact the Forevermore love story.
Sitio Pungayan has managed to build a tourism economy around the La Presa brand, including La Presa Strawberries, La Presa Vegetables, La Presa Jam, La Presa Souvenirs, and possibly a La Presa Inn in the future. While this created many jobs and companies in the area, unchecked commercialization is harming the natural beauty, charm, and scent of the area, as well as the Baguio water catchment basin.
