When our faith is anchored on a solid foundation, no matter what it looks or feels like, we can declare over our lives that we are standing on the promises of our Mighty God! We are standing on the promises that will never fail! His word will not return empty and it will accomplish its purpose (Isa 55:11). There is a beautiful future that awaits! So even if our own plans fail or what is in the present does not match our expectations, we can trust that His ways are even better and His plans will never fail. He has the final word. And His love is more than enough for us to not worry for today and for the future to come. Our God is faithful and trustworthy therefore we can hold tightly without wavering to this hope that we profess (Heb 10:23) for no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through Him, the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God. (2 Cor 1:20) - God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it? Numbers 23:19
