There are no such words as: 1. Costed 2. Cutted 3. Hitted 4. Hurted 5. Putted 6. Quitted 7. Splitted 8. Spreaded 9. Readed The verbs cost, cut, hit, hurt, put, quit, split, spread, and read do not change their form although they are used as past tense or past participle in a sentence.
