— devotionals. 🍃 “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11 Jeremiah 29:11 wasn’t written to escape on our difficult times and declare prosperity over it, but it was written in the midst of hardship and suffering; and people were likely desiring an immediate rescue. The heart of this verse is “not that we would escape our situation, but that we would learn to thrive on it.” Often times, when we suffer, we are declaring Jeremiah 29:11 in our situation. That’s okay, being hopeful that God will surely fulfill His promise to us yet one thing we should not miss is “before the plan, there is a promise to keep first.” ESCAPE isn’t a solution to our situation. Many times, God will let you stay in your current situation that you may continually persevere in your faith and be hopeful on His promise. As a believer of Christ, we need to learn how to take and find joy in times of testing. May we not forget that the best growth comes through enduring trials, not finding an escape on it. For the more we face trials of many kind, the more God is teaching us faith-filled lessons, the more we can trust in His constant Word, the more we will realize that real help comes from Him alone. Nothing more, nothing less. SO BE NOT AFRAID WHEN TRIALS COME ON YOU. DO NOT ESCAPE. EMBRACE IT WITH GRACE AND FULL OF FAITH. For the Lord your God will be with you and will help you stand in your battle. May we not forget that sometimes, God’s response is NOT to provide immediate escape from the difficult situation rather God has a plan for our lives and regardless of our current situation, He can work through it to prosper us and give us a hope and a future. Just believe in HIM. Let’s end it here, the after verses of Jeremiah 29:11 (verses 12-14A), “In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. I will be found by you,” says the Lord.” PRAY IN THE MIDST OF TRIAL. SEEK GOD AND YOU WILL FIND HIM. Shalom! 🍃
