"Happy Thoughts" by: The Bulwark From those days where we were still young Where your words and laughter were sung Our sweet memories that I love to recall Warms both my heart and soul. You, my best friend, make my ordinary days merry A girl with a carefree personality Even if you make me wait because you wake up late You're still the kind of girl I will love, not hate. A cheerful person who can have fun out of simple things The person who can turn iron into brilliant rings And even though we rarely fight because of you being carefree You're still the woman who makes me happy. Until one day that you began to avoid me. Looking the other way when our eyes meet. Your words are little; weak and short. I tried to learn why, but all I heard is your snort. We talked the day before the festival. I asked you to explain, but you said everything is normal. What is happening to my friend? Is the Sayori I know gone or you just have to pretend? I shaked you down until you talked I was enlightened by the things I unlocked You said that it hurts you to know that someone cares for you Especially when that person doesn't love you, too Hoping to comfort you, I said "I love you" Yes, Sayori. My words are true. I want us to be more than friends, and be a couple. You hugged me, and there was no more trouble. But I was wrong. I rushed to your home after reading your poem "Get Out Of My Head" Hoping that running would be a good stead I howled your name while heading to your room And what I saw is a total doom. Why, Sayori? Why do you have to kill yourself with your arms? I found you hanging by your neck, with bloody palms The necklace of misery, the loop of death! Curse the ropes that ended your breath. I thought those words would end your emotional beatings I shouldn't have confessed my feelings What have I done? Because of me, my best friend is gone. This is all my fault. But I revolt. You're not dead. You're not dead. You're not dead. Get. Out. Of. My. Head. But a poem never ends. It just stops moving. -END- Ctto:just poetry and arts
