Our community wanted to relocate power supply of a certain expansion and add a submeter.... to cut it short. I had a talk with the president of the community and requested if i assist.. they only consulted an electrician before to handle to nexessary things to buy and do.. i said that doing this kind of relocation doent mean you just connect wires and walahhh its all done.. you have to consider the following: 1. Can the main breaker support the expansion. 2. Can the main feeder line support the expansion. 3. What are the future plans...will they add aicons and add other appliances that may contribute to the whole load. The problem with expansion not planned properly in the long run after years of it still working is where does these current go is it from here or there . And if not properly these are the xonsequences: 1. Waste of money.. you have to realign and correct certain lines and breakers 2. Too much break in the continuity of the current may brought a lot of power loss.. means waste of money as well. 3. Not correct breaker may lead to power line to dissolve without the breaker tripping. 4. Not correct wire may lead to breaker always tripping . And too much load may overheat the wite it may cause fire or too much heat causing more money waste 5. Conduits as well play a factor for it protects our wires from over heating.. poor conduit may lead to fire as well..so it is recommended to use at least pvc pipes (orange) and not the flexible pipes. That is why we hear a lot of fires cause by electricity and that is why there are professionals there who can propoerly design your power supply to be more efficient and economical . There will always be good reason to put money to where it should be.. it may be pricey at the moment but in the long run will be more economical . Just the basics here.. so make sure . The one you seek advice always know what tey are talking and know the fundamentals.. its good i went and seen the actual and suggest a lot of things.. will check on with them again later . Ang swerte naman ng community nyo. Kasi meron silang member na katulad mo na may concern sa community! Hindi yung basta lang nakatira at walang pakialam kung anung nangyayari sa paligid.
