Sometimes I get a LITTLE frustrated with WAX... I never completely figured out that resource system. If it's not RAM then it's CPU, I'm always out of something. It's time-consuming to stake resources or to buy RAM. I wish all these resources were just added to a single fee that is then paid by the user in WAX, just like we do with Metamask.

Im not transacting much with WAX tbh yet, but that sounds super frustrating.
It really is. Hopefully there is a an easier way
yeah man, gonna get those WAX stuff done today, first stop, Rollercoin.
CPU regenerates like voting power and resource credits on Hive
cool, thanks for the info
no problem!
You need to stake for CPU and NET. RAM can you buy and sell. You see in the screenshot how much I have staked and I have never problems with transactions.
Hey, cheers! That actually helps a lot and gives me an idea of the amount. My stakes have obviously been too low...
And when you have a lot of NFTs you need more RAM. But RAM can always be bought and sold.
I don't understand why it's time consuming. It may be little confusing. But it's not that from hive. RAM is storage. You don't need much. Buy 5-10 wax and that'd probably be enough for a long time. You can sell it get it back anytime. CPU is for doing any action. It fluctuates in two ways. 1) your own resources (what you staked). It's restored over time after you don't do any transaction. 2) your percentage of available CPU is a function of staked / overall network's staked. This means if the network is being used heavily your overall available CPU will be smaller too I hope this helps a little
this guy gets it
Thanks :) Seems like you're also a wax enthusiast :) May I know your wallet name? mine is dl4aw.wam
you could say that 💚😵 you can find it on my Hive profile - https://leofinance.io/@l337m45732 also check out my project https://leofinance.io/@gmfrens
I just checked quickly. Interesting project
thanks fren
CPU regenerates hourly based on the amount of WAX you have staked for it. RAM is a limited resource that gets consumed in small amounts by each transaction. Start with 10 WAX staked for CPU, and 10 WAX worth of RAM. You can manage your resources via wax.bloks.io :D
