Mom's new phone. So yesterday, I asked my cousin's wife to buy the phone for my mom. She works in the city and the only time she works is every Friday. From work, she went straight to our house to give the phone. Initially, the plan was to give it to mom this Sunday but my brain could no longer wait and decided to give it on that night. By the way, I already told my sister about the gift while we were napping. So while mom was taking a bath in the evening, my sister snuck the paper bag with the phone inside to her room, next to our sleeping baby. Then we waited for her to come out and get dressed. She came out, went straight to the room, get dressed, and went outside as if nothing was in her room. So my sister told her to check the baby. She then went back to the room but came out as if nothing was there. This time, I went to the room and saw that the paper bag was placed at the end of the bed. I took the bag and gave it to her, and asked what was it. I told her it was a gift for her and told her that it was a prank. But then, I gave her the box, opened it, and gave her the phone. She was shocked. But after an hour, she asked me why? She even told me the phone was not necessary because I needed the money for the house. But I told her that it's fine.
