I used to pay connects to make myself visible to the clients. After I turned it off, I rarely got any until just a few weeks back when clients started to pour in. And when I finally got my new badge, the views increased even more. I'm so grateful for being a Top Rated Plus freelancer and my Italian client who hired me to do Wikipedia for him, even though I had zero experience with it back then. I didn't know Wikipedia was so in demand on Upwork until recently. The views in just seven days say it all.
