Buy Your Own Pega With These Easy Steps

I have written several articles now about Pegaxy, and you might be wondering how to get your hands on those cool horses, so as your host, let me walk you through how to buy your own Pega with these easy steps. But first thing is first, you need to set up your Polygon network on Metamask first.

• Network Name: Polygon

• New RPC URL: https://polygon-rpc.com/

• Chain ID: 137

• Currency Symbol: MATIC

• Block Explorer URL: https://polygonscan.com

Check the marketplace

Now that your Metamask wallet is ready, the second thing you need to do is check the marketplace. Sort it according to its lowest price, so you know how much money you will need to buy a Pega.

Prepare the funds

Now, you can prepare your funds, just be sure to send with extra $$$ just in case the cheapest ones are already sold out. Since I bought mine with BCH, I will stick to this. If you are planning to buy a Pega with fiat, no worries, the idea is still the same.

• Sell your BCH (or other assets you have in your wallet).

• Buy USDC on Binance.

• Send your USDC to your Metamask wallet. Make sure your network is under Polygon. Don't forget to add the contract address for USDC to see your funds.

• Now, you need to swap your USDC to USDT to buy a Pega. Open Kyberswap.com, connect to your Metamask wallet, and swap your USDC to USDT. Again, you need to add USDT's contract address too.

Note: Since you need MATIC for the gas fee, you also need to convert some of your USDC to MATIC.

Go back to the marketplace

You have your USDT for the Pega and MATIC for the gas fee ready, now time to do hunting for your first horse. When buying a Pega, there are several things you need to consider: the stat, win rate, and the racing history. Although according to gramps, the stat won't do much at all in the game, it's still better to have a decent stat just in case the devs will up the game in the future.

Having a 23%-25% win rate will already give you nice results but if you find something with 30% up, then you are guaranteed to have a better outcome. I know a friend whose winning rate is 28%, and he has an average of at least 200 VIS a day from his 50% share from the guild. You can also check the racing history to see how many golds that horse has won for the past few days.

Buy the Pega

You finally found the Pega you want, and you are so ready to buy your first horse, so here's what you need to do:

• Click the Buy button.

• Click Approve USDT and wait for the confirmation.

• Be sure to edit the gas fee and change it to 80 to have a faster transaction.

• Then hit Buy, and voila! You have now your first Pega.

When an error occurs, here's how to fix it

When I bought mine, I had encountered so many struggles. So lucky for you, you will know what to do in case you will experience the same issue as mine. If approving a Pega takes so much time, then all you need to do is to reset your account:

• Settings - Advanced - Reset Account

Don't worry, you won't lose any of your assets when resetting your account. It will just clear out your previous activities but be sure to cancel all pending transactions too.

If you happen to encounter this error that says Internal JSON-RPC error, then be sure that you have updated your Polygon network as you might be using the other one. See the above setup to change it.

Closing thoughts

Upon checking the marketplace, the cheapest for fixed prices is $700. This is a perfect day to buy your own Pega if you are thinking of getting one. If only BCH is not so down now, I will surely send more BCH to Polygon to buy 1 more Pega. Too bad, I can't at the moment.
