Good morning Ka FSFG. Today we celebrate Independence Day. Too bad it fell on a Saturday so those who work Monday to Friday won't enjoy the double pay.😊 So what does Independence Day really mean to us? Is this just another regular day but with pay? A break from a week of toxic work? Is this day just about the commemoration of our freedom from being ruled by another country? For me, this day symbolizes self sufficiency, self determination and liberty. I remember when I got my first pay. I was able to buy not only my needs but also my wants which I wasn't able to buy back then because I was still using my parents' cash and splurging wasn't a good idea for me if it wasn't my hard earned money. Working gave me the freedom from being dependent on my parents' wallet.🤭 What is your story of independence? Have a great day!
