@blueiceberg more from that month

A glimpse from the memory of my childhood. I remember receiving coins from my dad everyday when I was 8 or 9 years old. I put it in a piggy bank and placed it under my bed. It was a secret. My dad wanted me to save money and we didn’t tell mom. I honestly didn't know why. Maybe he wanted to surprise her with something. So it went on for months, dad distracting mom whenever he came home and I would go to my room and drop the coins in the piggy bank. I tried my best not to make too much noise but of course it was very hard because of the clinking sounds. Then one day, I woke up from an afternoon nap and saw my mom sitting at the foot of my bed, with all the coins from the cracked piggy bank! She found out and she said she needed money to buy something. Hehe. I guess the money served its purpose. We do save so we have something to use and spend, don't we?
