"Sputnik V" the name of Russias covid-19 vaccine?
Moscow - Russia has named its first vaccine to fight covid-19 as "Sputnik V" for foreign markets. This reference of name comes from the world first satellite it is also referred to as a Cold war space race and what Moscow sees is a success as its becoming the first country to approve the vaccine for covid-19, a top official said on Tuesday. Kirill Dmitriev, head of the country's RDIF sovereign wealth fund, said Russia had already received requests from more than 20 countries for 1 billion doses of its newly-registered COVID-19 vaccine.
