@bitcoinmapOnNoiseApp more from that month

Just asked the shop next to the hotel if they would accept #bitcoin and the manager said yes, he mentioned there would be a paper on the wall. First I couldnt find it as it was just black and white, I was looking for an orange or green symbol. Then I realized they have two QR codes printed out, one is USDT and the other is BTC, but the issue is that these are Binance QR codes 🥺 I asked the manager if he could give me the number of the owner so that I could explain him how to print out a real QR code with an onchain address. The manager didnt pay much attention and said he cant give me the number, so I further investigated doing my own research 🧐 I found the number, email and name of the owner on the wall, next to the QR codes 😂 then I sent him an email, explaining that I dont have binance but I do have bitcoin and now I am awaiting a response. Hopefully the owner answers so that I can help him to understand the issue so that he can serve #BCH and #DASH customers too! I was first disappointed to see that he would actually have that strange idea to print Binance QR codes instead of on-chain codes, but in one way it makes sense as #Binance transfers are probably feeless and otherwise #BTC would be useless anyway for that kind of shop. But now I realized I can actually be very happy that merchants here in #Venezuela are so advanced already that they care about crypto at all! 🙃 the owner just answered to my whatsapp that I sent after the email but he seems to be a maxi, anyway now he knows that maybe it makes sense to overthink that attitude in his own best interest to sell more products! I am sure that in a few years most will come to that conclusion as businesses want to make profits! The users on Binance are a fraction of all the bitcoiners, so why should anyone interested in maximizing his profits only want to serve these? Makes no sense, so its just a matter of time.
